Out of respect for the three US firefighters who lost their lives operating a Large Air Tanker, flags will fly at half mast in NSW tomorrow.

Three US firefighters lost their lives today helping to fight the fires in Australia when the C-130 firebomber tanker they were operating crashed.

Australian will mourn these heroes as our own.

This C-130 appears to be an “E” model.

I was curious about the model as there was a crash with an “A” model C-130 that lost a week while making a run on a fire in California back 2002.
