For what it’s worth, I’m pretty sure neither side even came close to using all their allotted time in the Clinton impeachment trial.

Meanwhile, on other channels, “The Incredible Doctor Pol” and “The Carbonaro Effect” see their viewership numbers explode.

They are trying by lying through their teeth. Rep. Jason Crow, (D-Co) just asserted that just shortly after President Trump hung up from talking to President Zelenskyy, he deliberately and with malice put the hold on their military aid “on the very same day.” Totally false. He asserted this after telling an anecdote about a poor, equipment less Ukrainian soldier who had been killed that morning by a Russian Mortar attack. . . Except from what I’ve read, they have been under a cease fire since March! This also implies that he died because we haven’t been supplying them sufficiently. Nothing could be further from the truth. The aid put on hold, EARLY in July, was for FUTURE aid, not even scheduled to be made available to them until later in the year!

Reprehensible lies from Crow!

I just think the Republicans ought to continue as the primary driver of their presentation that the Democrats have nothing, there is no evidence, there isn’t any impeachable offense.

Of course, what else would they do, they don't have to prove his innocence, the Dems with no evidence need to prove his guilt.

I wish Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham were the President’s attorneys. (I do realize they are not lawyers, but just dreaming here). It would be great to see them chew up and spit out these pathological liars.

Schiff and Nadler would cower before them.

This is simple stuff for democrats, who will channel fifteenth century witchcraft court procedure where the accusation was proof of guilt and the accused had to prove their innocence.

Yesterday was Schiff’s big day, from now on nobody will be watching.

I got a haircut this morning and hadn’t been in the barber chair very long when a couple of new customers walk in. One of the new customers loudly asked “Why aren’t all of you at home watching the impeachment?”

Everybody in the place broke out laughing uproariously. Then the discussion commenced about what a sham it is, the danger to the republic of trivializing impeachment and the rule of law, the waste of money, the diversion of attention from the nation’s business.

It was fantastic. Now, this is very conservative North Idaho, so I wouldn’t have expected anything else. But that sure was refreshing!

This was never about proving a “crime” (there was none).

It’s about sliming Trump and the GOP senate with apparent impunity. It’s about making vulnerable GOP senators support Trump in rat states. It’s also about 2020 campaign commercials showing rat case managers accusing Trump and the GOP of being unfair, covering up, etc.

24 hours is plenty of time to get that done.

What would be compelling is the Trump team introducing a video with snippets of EVERY Democrat invoking “impeachment” from the first moment he was elected. Especially Rashida Talib screaming “WE ARE GOING TO IMPEACH THE MOTHER ****er.” And no bleeping the ****er, let it rip right in the Senate.

I believe the Dem House Managers may in fact be in violation of a United Nations treaty with regard to treatment of the US Senate……
