I predict near zero compliance.
When our RINO governor in VT passed the mag limits last year, we just drive to NH or ME. All the new law did was encourage folks to stock up and keep buying.
WA Democrats must want a VA size rally in front of their homes, too.
When they voted for mag limits here in CO they grandfathered them. I bought enough mags to more than double what I had and they, being plastic, had time-date stamps on them. But it doesn’t really matter because mags with no time-date stamps could have been made at any time so ... prove they weren’t pre-ban! lol
In addition a majority of CO Sheriffs said then that they would not enforce any new gun laws. My Sheriff included.
For anyone who still wants mags just buy them out of state and if they have time-date stamps make sure they pre-date the ban. Suck it, libs, we’re not letting you push us any further.
I live in eastern Washington state, (red counties). The Sheriffs here aren’t enforcing the last set of dumbass gun laws passed in 2014 and they sure as heck won’t enforce/prosecute the upcoming laws either.
Yep, same as a majority of Virginia Sheriffs and several other states as well. Regardless of what laws they make the gun grabbin’ is over.
Everywhere Dems are in control, they seek to consolidate that control permanently by disarming the people who would oppose them.
I remember nationally when the Dem’s last banned assault weapons, they lost control of the House of Representative. I wonder how upset voters will be if these laws actually pass and are signed into law.
I have got to laugh out loud on this one. I live in Washington State and their are 29 tribal areas in the state.
The Makah Indians here have been using .50 caliber machine guns to hunt grey whales since they were pulled off the endangered list in 1994 and they killed their first in their native cultural hunts in 1999. I can promise you that no one in their right mind would try to remove the weapons. The Indians have way too much power and scare the politicians to death up here.
To display the power of the treaties they have up here there is a piece of one that says a certain percentage of oyster harvests in the state belong to the Indians.
A few of them were going on private home property and were relieving private unstaked beds of some of their clams and oysters in their beds. And it is considered legal.

Can’t make this stuff up.

Seattle/King County/Olympia basically control the rest of the state. The rest of the state will be upset but would be unlikely to overturn Seattle’s votes. Seattle is as hard left as they come.
If it saves just one life, then it’s all worth it./S
Abort babies for fun and profit, though.
Washington, Oregon and California can’t slide west soon enough.
Come on fault lines and volcanoes, do your dirty work.
The left in Washington now has control of both the Senate, and the House, the Governors Office, the State Supreme Court, both Federal Senators, and most of the Federal House representatives. It is going to take a couple of years, but we are moving out of the state that we have lived in all of our lives. It was not like this when we were kids.
I just checked Davidson’s and you can get a bolt action for about $4200, s semi-auto for around $9k in NC. Can’t do the semi-auto, but if push came to shove (NC outlawing 50’s) I’d buy the bolt action.
The fudds will.
Fudd ‘em!
It was the hand of God that had us relocate when we did...
Amen!
Oh stop it, eastern Washington and eastern Oregon and most of northern Cali are full of patriots fighting the good fight.
The best solution would be for eastern Washington and eastern Oregon to start the necessary legal steps to join Idaho. It would slow down the leftward trend that emanates from Boise and add some electoral votes to an already conservative state.
My antique British made Tower flintlock pistol has a barrel diameter of more than.50 caliber. Is it an assault weapon? It is the naval or dragoon version as the ramrod is captured on a swivel under the barrel. It was made close in time to when the patriots were writing the constitution.
