I think Roberts should call Shift out of order for showing snipits of clips totally OUT OF CONTEXT of Trump. I was going to post that but FR started crashing on me. I do think that one of the Presidents attorneys would have to object and point out that the statements were clipped from a larger context that misrepresents their true meaning.

No Cocaine Mitch made some modest rule changes to keep Republicans together.
The Turtle knows if he has the votes to pass them.

McConnell already caving to Dems on evidence allowed and duration of opening statements. What a doormat.I thought they each get tw0 hours, they started at 1pm, pretty soon we'll have a vote.

Any time I see a democrat begin to speak, the volume goes way down on my television set. They keep repeating the same lies over and over and over. Enough and move on but they just can’t seem to let it go.

Each side gets three days to present their case and the House evidence will be admitted into the trial record.

Asking for additional discovery on the day of trial is unprecedented. Roberts needs to deny this request immediately. This is a trial not a preliminary hearing. One my my liberal acquaintances said that "evidence revealed after a trial opens is always admissible in a court of law, so why not here?"
What should I tell her?

Enough and move on but they just can’t seem to let it go. If you have the facts on your side you argue the facts. If you have the law on your side you argue the law. If you have neither, you pound the table.

LOL. We’re literally two hours into the proceedings and Majority Leader Schiff has changed the evidence rules and added two days to the proceedings. Sunshine pump all you want but it’s clear who is in charge here.

The final version of the Resolution will be in the form that is agreed to by at least 51 Senators, and you don’t get a vote. That change was demanded by Senator Collins who apparently had some other support backing her. Neither McConnell or you gets to dictate the terms of the Resolution.
To: damper99
I expect all 53 Republicans to vote for the revised rules package.
