ALBANY New Yorkers think race relations in the Empire State are going down the tubes, a new poll has found.
Only 5 percent of voters surveyed in a new Siena College study released Monday, Martin Luther King Jr.s birthday, said race relations are excellent, while 28 percent rated them as good.
Meanwhile, a combined 64 percent of New Yorkers described relations as fair, at 42 percent, or poor, at 22 percent.
The most dismal view comes from New York City, where 29 percent of residents think race relations are poor, compared to 20 percent of suburbanites and 15 percent of upstaters.
Its a sharp decline from the findings of a 2010 Siena poll, where 51 percent of residents marked race relations as positive.

MLK day precedes a whole month of White Guilt. NO. There has been no improvement. The left is getting political points by blaming Whitey for all the problem in the world.
As long as the left gets votes and money by pointing a finger at Whitey, it will continue.
“Race relations” in the USA went down the tube the moment Ophonybama was nominated!
The communist north is raycis.
I have a dismal view of New Yorkers.

"Race relations"? This is the way it has been at least since the 1970s and probably before.
Race relations were better in the heartland back in the eighties.

At some point in the indistinct future, perhaps content of character will REALLY matter?
An Englishman once said that Southerners dislike blacks as a group, but love them as individuals, while Northerners feel the reverse.
Um, I don’t think so.
What you have however is too many of those in the North believing that in order to demonstrate you yourself aren’t racist, you have to decry how irretrievably racist the rest of the country is.
Things that keep the race card alive
1.It gets votes
2.The blame game
3.Can’t get on the gravy train
4.Lazy
5.It’s to much work to win
6.Self pity
One word. Obama.
Maybe at some point, but right now, the lib narrative does not judge people on the content of their character.
I know that it is wishful thinking, but I HAD to say it!
