Republican Arizona Sen. Martha McSally ripped into CNN Capitol Hill reporter Manu Raju on Thursday, calling him a “liberal hack” after he asked a question about President Donald Trump’s upcoming impeachment trial.
“Sen. Martha McSally, a Republican facing a difficult election race, lashed out when I asked if she would consider new evidence as part of the Senate trial,” Raju, a University of Wisconsin graduate tweeted Thursday.

My only quibble is that she should have said "leftist hack". Liberal is antiquated and doesn't fully express the truth.

What “new evidence?” I thought due process required the prosecution to disclosed all of their evidence sufficiently in advance of the trial that the defendant could prepare to respond to it.

with due process- a prosecutor who stumbles on new evidence during a trial must request that the new evidence be allowed, and must give the defense time to review it and prepare for it- I believe- I think a judge can refuse to allow new evidence- but I’ m not sure
McSally needs to pull her head out of her backside.
CNN is NOT going to help her win.

They pick and choose what elements of due process they want to allow.
On one hand, Schiff justified his secret meetings by saying that it was like a grand jury where everything is secret. On the other hand, he leaked like a sieve which would land him in jail if it were actually a grand jury proceeding.
Her opponent is a Northam style gun grabber, Gabby Giffords’ husband.
Folks...there is a better tale today from the Democrat Garbage Bin of Democrat, “Fat Man: Jerrold Nadler & his new love, Democrat, “two ton” disgustingly ugly, Zoey Lofgren. Someone asked her today as she was strutting (Wattling like a duck) behind her pig man, Nadler....who had a bagel decorated with onions and lox galore falling out of his back pants pocket headed towards the US Senate.
She was so overtaken by her hunger and food lust,...not for Nadler. the fat pig human being that he is...but she wanted his bagel. Sadly, she grabbed for it....alas...it fell to the Senate floor. But....fear not: the undaunted lady Congresswoman fell quickly to the floor grabbed the bagel from the ground and she stuffed it quickly in her mouth and began to devour the tainted goodie....no matter, she fell to the floor and had to be lifted to her feet by six security folks!!! Anything for love and hunger of the Democrat Party Fattie brigade!!! Have ya seen the two Democrat Party Fatties marching together in romantic bliss!!! End of story!!!

Now that impeachment is here, she is required to be sitting in her Senate seat in DC whenever the “trial” is going on.
But your point is valid. When this impeachment clown show is over, she needs to spend max time in Arizona campaigning. She’s a pretty lousy candidate so she should get some good professional coaching on how to better present herself, IMHO.
What are mistakingly called liberals these days are against everything that Classic American Liberalism believed in.
So too were the “progressives” of the 19th and early 20th centuries, BTW, and men like TR, Wilson or FDR should have never been let near government.
She has zero charisma. She needs to do more to be re-elected. She lost her first race to likely fraud and then was appointed to another seat by our Rino governor.
