harm tardigrades
That's hilarious. Bacteria and tardigrades will be last organisms left on Earth as the sun begins age and swell up.

what a WACKO article.
tardigrades have survived longer than vertebrates
AND can travel through space vacuum, so
will live longer than humans survive.

Well, should we ever have global warming, we might want to watch for this.

Tardigrades are known for their remarkable resiliency. The tiny organisms are capable of withstanding extreme conditions, but new research suggests they’re not immune to the effects of global warming.
Know for remarkable resiliency.
They absolutely cannot think clearly. Cannot connect the dots.

Tardigrades, sometimes called water bears or moss piglets, are microscopic invertebrates with barrel-shaped bodies and four pairs of legs. The micro-animals are found in a variety of environs, including marine, freshwater and terrestrial micro-habitats, and feed on plant cells, algae and other small invertebrates.
What about Sea Monkeys? Has Global Warming all but eliminated Sea Monkeys? I no longer see them for sale in Comic Books.

...scientists exposed dozens of water bears to elevated temperatures in the lab. That has got to be one of the stupidest "experiments" ever! Tardigrades exist practically everywhere, from the Rainforest to Antarctica. Obviously they are very adaptable.
Hey "scientists", next try subjecting Tardigrades to lower temperatures, or more light, or less light. You gotta keep that funding money rolling in, right?

Put all this global warming stuff aside for a minute. And immediately arrest these evil scientists for animal cruelty!
But maybe that should be tardigrade cruelty instead.
