U.S. Rep. Max Rose of Staten Island announced his endorsement of Michael Bloombergs presidential bid, making Mr. Rose the first member of Congress to back the former New York City mayors campaign.
Mr. Rose, a Democrat, specifically cited Mr. Bloombergs management of the city in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Mr. Bloomberg was elected to the first of his three terms as mayor that year.
Mayor Bloombergs even-keeled and visionary leadership is what we need to reduce the chaos, partisanship and hyper-vitriol that has overtaken Washington, Mr. Rose said. Rather than submit to another stage of politics as usual, we must be bold and unifying in taking on the huge challenges we face as a nation.
Mr. Rose was elected in 2018. Voters in his district, which includes the borough of Staten Island as well as parts of southern Brooklyn, voted for President Trump over Hillary Clinton in 2016.

I was sick of it before that. :^) His ads are pretty much lies from end to end, other than when his awful voice comes on and he says he's Mike Bloomberg and approves this message. I don't think he'll rise very high, but he is likely to outlast the other also-rans -- Psychojawea, Bernout, Devin P, Klobuchar -- and peel off a paltry few votes from Biden, as will Yang, Steyer, and perhaps Schultz (although I think Schultz will drop out soon).

This guy, Max Rose, needs to do a course in history...He is full of sh!t...
In the wake of the attacks, Giuliani was hailed by many for his leadership during the crisis. When polled just six weeks after the attack Giuliani received a 79% approval rating among New York City voters, a dramatic increase over the 36% rating he had received a year earlier seven years into his administration.[23][24]
In his public statements, Giuliani mirrored the emotions of New Yorkers after the September 11 attacks: shock, sadness, anger, resolution to rebuild, and the desire for justice to be done to those responsible. “Tomorrow New York is going to be here”, he said. “And we’re going to rebuild, and we’re going to be stronger than we were before...I want the people of New York to be an example to the rest of the country, and the rest of the world, that terrorism can’t stop us.”[25] Giuliani was widely praised by some for his close involvement with the rescue and recovery efforts, but others, including many police, rescue workers, and families of WTC victims argue that “Giuliani has exaggerated the role he played after the terrorist attacks, casting himself as a hero for political gain.”[26]
As an avid and public fan of the New York Yankees, who won four World Series Championships during his time as mayor, Giuliani was frequently sighted at Yankee games, often accompanied by his son. On September 21, 2001, the first game was played in New York City after the attacks, with the New York Mets at home facing the Atlanta Braves. Despite his being a Yankee fan, the crowd cheered for him and for his leadership over the preceding days.[27]
The term “America’s Mayor”, now in common usage among Giuliani supporters, was coined by Oprah Winfrey at a 9/11 memorial service held at Yankee Stadium on September 23, 2001.[18][28]
The Giuliani-endorsed Republican Michael Bloomberg, took office on January 1, 2002 per normal custom.
Bloomberg, President Little Big Gulp
eradicated infant mortality by killing more babies through abortion
Nah. Bloomberg has peaked, as have the rest of the clown car candidates, other than the driver, and that's the Biden. He will be the nominee, and he'll pick the Fairy Princess for his running mate.
His theme song should be ‘Short people ain’t got no reason to live’.
Men of his stature are in SHORT supply.
Yeah! Though there are those who think LITTLE of him!
Some would label his attacks on the President as "small".
The tallest U.S. President was Abraham Lincoln at 6 feet 4 inches (193 centimeters), while the shortest was James Madison at 5 feet 4 inches
I guess the check cleared
You can kiss your 2nd. Amendment rights goodbye too. Bloomberg funds a number of anti-2nd. Amendment groups across the country. I live in New Jersey. I know who and what Bloomberg is, trust me. He’s an Upper East Side New York liberal billionaire who in reality thinks people like yourself are stupid, slack jawed, gun toting Bible thumping freaks who need to be controlled. I’m not kidding you.
On Friday, Bloomberg joined Stacey Abrams in Atlanta at the Fair Fight 2020 Summit, an event aimed at tackling voting issues. Abrams ran for governor of Georgia in 2018 and nearly pulled out a surprising victory. Supporters blame her loss on a decision by Georgias secretary of state to make it more difficult to register to vote, disproportionately affecting the states black voters.Bloomberg to tell states to restore felon voting rights, stop purging rolls
Gloom and Doomberg. Or maybe just, "pathological liar".
"Little Big Gulp", fantastic!
The district he’s in also has a chunk of Brooklyn. It’s been a close balance for years and finally tipped last election. Staten Island itself is Republican.
