American troops are in the process of clearing debris and rubble from an area the size of a football stadium Monday at a military base in western Iraq that was hit by Iranian airstrikes.
The attack on the Ain al-Asad base last Wednesday, where about 1,500 American and coalition forces are stationed, was carried out in retaliation for the killing of Iranian Revolutionary Guards Gen. Qassem Soleimani. An Associated Press crew touring the facility Monday saw damaged military trailers as well as forklifts lifting rubble and loading it onto trucks.
“There were more than 10 large missiles fired and the impact hit several areas along the airfield,” said Col. Myles Caggins, a spokesman for the U.S.-led coalition fighting Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria.
He added that the explosions at the base, which is about 110 miles west of Baghdad, created large craters, knocked over concrete barriers and destroyed facilities that house dozens of soldiers.

My best guess is POTUS Trump would have launched attacks on all their Military and Nuclear Installations.

Thank you for the link. The photos give me the answer about the Iranian missiles that I was guessing at. They are Iranian versions of the old Soviet Scud missile. I’m calling them ‘son of Scud.’ According to the Wiki article, the North Koreans manufactured its version of the Scud, called the The Hwasong-6 and exported to Iran where it is known as the Shahab-2.
Here is a link to info about the old Scud missiles that were what was setting across the border when I was in the Cold War US Army Europe in the 70s and 80s.

I remember reading that Finland of all nations had been informed of the strike plans, and allowed to act as an unofficial emissary to notify the US.
Not sure if that was proven accurate.

The missiles did not miss - they hit their intended targets even to exact center. Those missiles are on the lowest rung on the Iranian missile ladder and are the oldest antiques they own - using them up is a good thing in their eyes - they have 10s of thousands of more advanced, accurate, and deadly missiles - stock piles of which they are building up on their proxy bases in Lebanon, Iraq and Syria for their coming attacks on US forces and Israel.

We spotted them moving missiles. It was our own warning. One can imagine every spy asset we posses was deployed on Iran after the strike.
Either we had no fire control at those bases or the Iranians wanted to take them out.
They gave us warning so they could blow up some stuff w/o killing any Americans - saving face and the President allowed it so he could tweak their nipples w/o escalating. He has more leverage now than right after killing “Salami”
