Former Bush official blasts Buttigieg: 'He is not ready'

A former President George W. Bush administration official blasted Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg over his lack of experience in national politics, which she argues makes him underqualified for the Oval Office.

Sheila Bair, the former chairwoman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC), said Democrats are “almost maniacal in their eagerness to oust” President Trump and in doing so are less focussed on the qualifications of their candidates.

“Enter Pete Buttigieg, whose primary asset seems to be a thin résumé,”Bair wrote in an op-ed published Wednesday in The Washington Post.

That didn’t stop them from voting for Obozo, much to our detriment.

>> primary asset seems to be a thin résumé

Based on what I’ve been seeing around here, that’s a requirement for Dem candidates. Doesn’t seem to affect their voters.

Him being a queer “married” to another man disqualifies him in my book. That, and being a Democrat.

Would a heterosexual white male mayor of a small Midwestern city be considered a serious presidential candidate?

Is Pete in this campaign, pushing up in the polls, mainly due to being a homosexual, and having virtue signaling supporters of homosexuality?

Is that tantamount to an endorsement for Pete Buttigieg, especially in a Democratic primary?

Sadly, many Americans will vote for a historic moment, instead of for the candidate, if Mayor Pete is the nominee. We saw the same in 2008.

We live in a time when voters do not educate themselves and vote based on emotion, not logic.

I’ve always liked Sheila Bair. She was critical of the banking crisis.

Not ready? Not ready?

He’s a frigging butt pirate. He’s mentally ill, a loathsome pervert.

How could *anyone* even consider allowing him to hold public office?

We need to build some mental hospitals and try to cure these sick individuals.

If she thinks a mayor has a thin resume what did she think of Trump? I’m not trying to compare Buttigege to Trump, I’m just trying to understand her idea of thinking that the more political experience you have the more qualified you are.
