Forty-one percent (41%) of likely U.S. voters say the country is headed in the right direction. Thats according to the latest numbers from Rasmussen Reports. During most of 2016, President Obamas last year in office, fewer than 30% said the country was headed in the right direction.
Also, Rasmussen Reports finds voters say they trust President Trump on economic issues more than they trust the average member of Congress or reporter. However, they trust their own judgment most of all.
Meantime, President Trumps job approval rating for December was at 49%, up two points from November, despite the House impeaching him.
Joe Biden is still the leading potential Democratic presidential nominee but his support levels are the lowest they have been to date.
Positive outlook for the coming year is up dramatically from last year, with 72% of American adults saying that 2020 will be at least a good year. That compares to 54% a year ago. Many of those say 2020 will be excellent or one of the best years ever.

So you’re saying there’s a chance to say the union?
Trump will be re-elected. Everything is going in the right direction.
The other 59% suffer from cranial-rectal insertion.
From what I see 40% are the makers and doing well. The other 50% are the takers or not doing well-Dead end low wage jobs etc. 10% float back and forth.
I would love to ask the other 59% of these idiots what the right direction looks like? Probably is still breast feed off of mom.
Who are the idiots that are saying otherwise.
There seems to be a logical disconnect in these Rasmussen responders in that ~70% day next year is going to be a good year, up a considerable margin over previous polls, yet the same responders say we are going in the wrong direction. Say what?!
Theyd prefer things werent going to be as good next year?
Somehow I am seriously doubting that anyone put together a poll that drew a sample representative enough to know what 41 percent of the American voters think about anything.
I don't believe this poll, sorry.
My take: America is still headed in the wrong direction, as long as Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler, and the other Commiecrats remain in office. Or should I say, remain at large.
However ... Trump is doing yeoman work ordering right full rudder, engines astern before the ship of state rams the iceberg of Marxism.
Ultimately, things could go either way at this point. Too many sheeple out there ... and too many of them vote.
Re: the other 59% of idiots - hard to understand why 59% would answer ‘going in the wrong direction” - unless this was a push poll, or was heavily weighted by Democrats, etc.
Every sign among the electorate is pointing in the opposite direction. I cannot help but wish I could see the questions asked and how they were asked.
There is no reason to believe the conclusions given about these polls. For three years we have been bombarded with bad results for Trump until the past 2-3 months when Trump supposedly began to rise in the polls. Yet here is a poll where he is only at 49% and they claim it is higher than he has been previously. I understand there are many different polls - and he is going in the right direction, but he should be around 55%, at least, considering his leadership and the economy.
If the Democrats insist on nomination Joe Biden, Trump will get about 55-60% of the vote. He will have a landslide.
And this is just polling the DNC.
Maybe those talking about going in the wrong direction was referring to things like tranny story hour, nonwomen in women sports, socialism push, churches and schools hijacked by morons, etc.

59% of likely voters are lazy bums.
