That only accounts for part of the money. Anyway, the money was frozen and Obama let them have it back, so the distinction is really meaningless.

Note Trump does not say Obama “gave” them money, or that the money was US money. He says, completely accurately, that the funds were “MADE AVAILABLE”. Mitchell’s statement even acknowledges that Obama made them available.

The media misquotes the President and then claims he lies.
