AIN ASSAD AIR BASE, Iraq — Iran struck back Tuesday for the killing of a top Iranian general last week, firing a series of ballistic missiles at two Iraqi bases housing U.S. troops in a major escalation.
Iranian state TV reported the strikes were in retaliation for the killing of Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Soleimani, whose death Friday prompted angry calls to avenge his slaying.
A U.S. official said there were no immediate reports of American casualties.

The US can go to war anytime we like. Iran flinched last night, it worth taking some time to see where this might lead.
In my opinion, he did not seem happy. I think he is somewhat hamstrung by various things that preclude him from doing what he really wants to do.

I viewed the NBC link, and had to wonder if the WH mics were set to high on the treble to make Trump sound sniffley. Or, maybe they turned up the higher freq after receiving their feed to make Trump sound bad.
