Pivot to negotiations.
Reagan was asked to explain his Cold War Strategy. He replied: “We win”.
That really is an essential piece of thinking.
President Trump seems to do everything in a similar way. “America wins”. That doesn’t mean he opposes a win-win through negotiation. But he won’t agree to live with Terrorism. He won’t send $150B over to Iran for a shallow political victory. Trump wants to win this one and change the rules of power in the Middle East.
Iran gave advance notice to Iraq and Finland that they planned to lob the missiles.
Finland is believed to be a US intermediary in behind-the-scenes efforts to smooth out the problems.
BBC is still reporting Iranian Propaganda ,it’s sicking
In fact, President Trump lives according to this:
People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.Trump's enemies do not believe this of him because they do not want to believe it of him. If they did, they would understand his behavior. They don't want to understand his behavior, and they don't want anyone else to understand it.If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.
~attributed to Mother Teresa~
~practiced by President Donald Trump~
Truth is inconvenient for them, and it's a threat. That's why they are trying to destroy him.
He towers over them intellectually and morally. They don't understand this. They don't want to understand this. They do not want it to be true. But it is.
Hmmm. I think Trump’s Doctrine is more biblical. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a drone for a drone etc.
As long as no blood was spilled, like it was in Lebanon with the death of an American contractor, Trump will not respond, but if blood is spilled he will unleash all hell and fury, probably all 52 sites.
I think, at this point, it might be even polite of him to announce like 30 minutes in advance, that he’s going to take out these missile sites...every one of them, so as not to have Iranian casualties...
Then he’ll bomb them...retreat and see what they do.
Hopefully it will lead to some talking...
Deliberative pause and well informed reflection while considering causation, effects, purpose, and consequences.
Sounds like a reckless, irrational madman just like cnn nyt, wapo tell us.
At what point does everyday action become certified by the press as doctrine?
Is ordinary run of the mill executive action doctrine
