A Colorado mother has been accused of plotting to kidnap her child, who had been removed from her custody, in a raid with the help of far-right QAnon conspiracy theorists.
Cynthia Abcug, 50, was charged last month with conspiracy to commit second-degree kidnapping, according to the Parker Police Department in Douglas County.
According to an arrest affidavit, Abcug's daughter, who was still in her custody, told police and child services caseworkers in September that her mother had "gotten into some conspiracy theories and she was 'spiraling down it'" since her sibling was removed from the home. She also said her mother had stopped attending therapy two months earlier.

I do not see what her kidnapping her kid has to do with qanon OTHER THAN the Feds wanting to declare IT a terrorist. Why can we not declare the cartels terrorists...hmmmm?
While I think that Qanon is a chock full O’kooks, and kooks do kooky things, like kidnapping their own family members, tying this crime to Qanon is kooky in and of itself... She lost her kid because she was a kook, not because of Qanon. She could just as easily been obsessed with Area 51, Bigfoot, or the “Illuminati”. Hopefully, she gets the help she obviously needs.

As with any grass roots movement crazy people sometimes glom on. Can’t be helped or stopped. The same people that told you we were going to die from global warming are calling Qanon a domestic terrorist org. That is total bull squat. Think for yourself, investigate everything, don’t trust the mainstream media, Hollywood is full of pedos (just ask Ricky Gervais), There are people in the government trying to wrest power away from the entrenched deep state.
If you think that is a conspiracy theory or dangerous...You are delusional.

I think abduct would have been a more accurate word than kidnap. The child had already been taken away from her by CPS, which was probably what drove her over the edge. Not that she was stable before that, but even "relatively sane" people can do crazy stuff under that kind of stress.
All this leftist obsession with Qanon makes me wonder if there isn’t something there.
Be realistic. The VAST majority of people, left right and center, as well as FREEPERS have little regard for Qanon nonsense. If you think it’s just left wingers you are delusional. Most FReepers would kick the whole subject off the board if a vote were taken.
Eventually most q people will once again regain their common sense.
