Although I don’t consider Biden to be “smooth” in any real sense, he is nevertheless a “smooth talker”. He phrases things as artfully as he can manage so that he can lie to you without quite lying. He’s a used car salesman. He’s a politician. He just wants to get away with whatever he can getaway with.
President Trump, on the other hand, is not a smooth talker. He doesn’t “filter” himself because he doesn’t need to filter himself. He says what he means. He means what he says. That’s part of the reason the smooth talkers hate him.
I opposed running a war of occupation and pointed out that within the middle east punative wars are appropriate.
