WASHINGTON (AP) Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said Thursday that President Donald Trump has tossed a stick of dynamite into a tinderbox" with the targeted killing of Iran's top general in an airstrike at Baghdads international airport.
The former vice president joined other Democratic White House hopefuls in criticizing Trump's order, saying it could leave the U.S. on the brink of a major conflict across the Middle East."
The Pentagon said the U.S. military killed Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the head of Irans elite Quds Force, in Baghdad Friday at the direction of Trump. The attack is expected to draw severe Iranian retaliation against Israel and American interests. The Defense Department said Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region."

Just ask the question Why was Irans Rev Guard Commander, the top card in the world terror card deck, in Baghdad?
He wasnt fighting ISiS
Or carpet shopping

Bingo
As earlier articles mentioned (before the “shut up” memo went out) he was arranging the attack on the American embassy, together with some lovely Hamas people.
What actually happened is that the veil obscuring the leadership from the surrogates was obliterated.
Cowardly Iran can no longer hide behind surrogate skirts
And if Trump didn’t act, they would attack him for that. Hypocrites.

Most of the posts today are anti-Trump.
Once, again...POTUS gets these fools to defend another undefendable MURDERER/terrorist.
At first I thought I was mis-reading the article, cuz that was the first question that popped into my head too. Then I thought well, maybe it's Biden confused again.
Nonetheless, I want to know the answer to your question too.
Precisely . . . I figure Rush and some others will freeze this point and emphasize it today. Even a few ignorant Rats might be able to grasp the meaning of his being killed while in Iraq . . . but I am not holding my breath.
So what was Irans top general doing in Iraq? And tell the fcktards in congress nothing, they are spies for the middle east.
I like the way you think.
good question! It was the same thought I had, but since it was just after a protest at the US Embassy, surely the two things are completely unrelated!
I “call” that DEMON-RATs are allowed to be in any position of authority, power or influence “reckless”. Wake up voters!
I totally understand the risks involved for the folks on the ground over there. I do not mean for the details to come out while we have operatives over there. But should one of them write a book about this event in a few years, it would be an interesting read.
Yes, no doubt it would be interesting, and probably impressive to see the back story.
Well this is politics and it is shameful. I would think Biden actually agrees with the action POTUS has taken. Maybe he a Gabbard the only ones, but they will not win the nomination if they publicly agree with President Trump.
Last time the Iranian government tried to take an American embassy with a Democrat president in office, they held 58 Americans hostages over a year until a Republican was elected President and then released them. This time when they ordered their proxies to storm an American embassy with a Republican president the only fatality was the guy who ordered them to storm it.. The lesson learned by the mullahs is to wait until the next election cycle to see if a Dem is elected before they storm an American embassy
What would have been their response to the embassy attack? Send a nasty letter to the Ayatollah, make nice with pallet loads of cash, go cry at the U.N. or maybe send the Squad to Tehran to appease the mullahs? Trump has the Iranian leaders shaking in their turbans.
