White Nationalist Who Ran For Senate And Claimed To Have Killed A Goat, Drank Its Blood Arrested On Kidnapping, Abuse Charges

A white nationalist who ran for the U.S. Senate in Florida and was a featured speaker during the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, was arrested on charges of kidnapping, domestic violence and possession of a firearm during a crime of violence.

Augustus Sol Invictus, 36, was arrested Monday at a Florida mall by Brevard County Sheriff’s deputies on a warrant issued out of South Carolina, the Miami Herald reported. Jail records described him as an “out of state fugitive.”

The Herald noted that news of the arrest was first reported on Twitter by the journalist Nick Martin, who focuses on covering “hate and extremism” in the U.S.

Invictus, an Orlando-area attorney, has called for violent uprisings. During his 2016 Senate bid to unseat U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, he got widespread attention for claiming that he killed a goat and drank its blood as part of a pagan ritual. He failed, however, to win the nomination from Florida’s Libertarian Party to challenge Rubio.

White nationalist Richard Spencer, who organized the deadly Charlottesville rally that refocused attention on the country’s frayed race relations, had credited Invictus with drafting the core tenets behind the rally.

Jail records show that Invictus is being held without bond and is to appear before a judge on Jan. 15.

Invictus was taken into custody Monday afternoon by deputies from the Brevard County Sheriff’s fugitive unit, public information officer Tod Goodyear said Wednesday.

Invictus had been under surveillance since Christmas Day, when South Carolina authorities notified officials in Florida that Invictus may be in the area.

Florida officials began tailing Invictus after tracking him down at a relative’s home, Goodyear said. Invictus was taken into custody without incident after leaving a gym.

I’d send him $10 to see him do it on youtube. See if he’s lying.

Now I know what my campaign slogan will be when I run for office:

“I’ve killed goats and drank their blood. Vote for me.”

This message has been approved by Blood Drinkers of America.

So who got kidnapped?

Don't know. It happened in Rock Hill, SC according to reports. I haven't been able to find any details. I have several friends who live in and around there, but no info for the moment.

I still can’t believe that Rubio beat in the Florida Senatorial race. I guess all the “real Florida men” are convicted felons and were ineligible to vote for him. /sarc

I'm guessing much of these movements come out of the prison system. Sadly, the press focuses on the "white nationalists" while ignoring the same impulse/activities by blacks and latins.

The SPLC actually excuses black nationalism based on "police violence" and Donald Trump. Not kidding. (see https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/ideology/black-nationalist )

they are fake agents left over from occupy wall street. They claim to be “white nationalists”, but are really agent provocateurs of the left. They organized the rally in North Carolina and invited the clan... then at the last minute, they invited a bunch of Trump supporters so the press could get pictures of trump supporters with the clan.

IT IS ALL FAKE.. just like the alt-right was invented.

I doubt this out of control psychopath has the skill to ‘organize’ an event like Charlottesville... I’m guessing he was a chosen ‘front’..

Democrats will be using ‘charlottesville’ to keep black citizens on their plantation ... this guy is a good place to start with debunking the lie that it was ‘organized’ by idiots who couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag.

A lie we need to confront is Charlottesville - there is NO WAY conservatives ‘organized’ an event like that with props, preprinted signs, and buses pulling people in... Look at conservative ‘gatherings’ BEFORE Charlottesville IF you doubt this... I’ve known organizers, I’ve worked with organizers, and there is NO WAY Charlottesville was organized by conservatives.

There might have been ‘front’ people but it’s no different than if the first building a person built was a 50 story skyscraper. It doesn’t work that way... Organizing is a skill and it’s NOT easy...

I know they’re out there, and I also know they are so few. The only “white” racist I ever met was a white dude who did some handyman work for me and who did 8 yrs for trafficking. Even he wasn’t a “white nationalist” although his rhetoric supported much of the same. Still, he wasn’t intolerant so much as feeling pushed around and defensive. Our prisons create the extremism.

But somehow I don’t see middle class white kids walking around with nazi tats. Yet I regularly see middle class black kids walking (barely) around with their pants down their ass.

Hmmm. Which prison culture is being promoted and absolved by mainstream society?

Or dare I not ask?

DOJ charges Southern Poverty Law Center with fraud for paying white supremacist groups $3M to ‘stoke racial hatred’
NY Post ^ | April 21, 2026 | Josh Christenson

The Department of Justice announced Tuesday that a grand jury indicted the Southern Poverty Law Center for making fraudulent payments of millions of dollars to members of the Ku Klux Klan and other neo-Nazi organizations.

One leader of the 2017 Unite the Right protest in Charlottesville, Va., received roughly $270,000 over an eight-year period.

Others had affiliations with the Ku Klux Klan, United Klans of America, Aryan Nations, the Nationalist Socialist Party of American Nazis and the Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club.

Several of the informants were also being paid while simultaneously being featured in SPLC publications — including on its public-facing “Extremist File” webpage — as members of the hate groups.

“The SPLC is a nonprofit entity that purports to fight white supremacy and racial hatred by reporting on extremist groups and conducting research to inform law enforcement groups, with the goal of dismantling these groups,” Blanche told reporters.

“As the indictment describes, the SPLC was not dismantling these groups. It was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred,” he said.

FBI Director Kash Patel added that the “widespread, decade-long multi-million dollar fraud” — which stretched from 2014 to 2023 — was concealed through a “banking network,” “shell companies,” and other fictitious entities.

The SPLC secretly funneled $3M+ in donor funds to violent racist extremist groups:

-Ku Klux Klan
-American Nazi Party
-Aryan Nation
-United Klans of America
-Unite the Right
-National Alliance
-National Socialist Movement
-Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club
-American Front

To hide the payments, SPLC allegedly opened bank accounts under fictitious entities to conceal the source and control of donor funds.

Per the indictment: an SPLC field source was a member of the online leadership chat group that planned the 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville — made racist postings under SPLC supervision and helped coordinate transportation to the event.
