The House should be limited to only bringing the witnesses it successfully brought in front of its committees. The House failed to use the Judiciary Branch to arbitrate witnesses appearing at the committees that were denied by the Executive Branch.

However, the defense (Trump) should call any witnesses it may need to put on a solid defense.

An alternative would be have a brief trial, get an acquittal, then prosecute the living aspirations out of the Bidens, and all the coup conspirators - like a sweet second acquittal.
