She may have known the shooter. She seems more concerned about him laying shot on the ground than the other two men that he shot.
Exciting/hysteria about seeing a shooting is one thing, she doesn’t step out to safety, she runs around a bit and stays in the room to observe.
Maybe she is concerned about one or both of the men he shot. Almost sounds to me though like she’s screaming ‘let him go!”
And she moves around a bit not just staying at that back row.

Thanks. Watching more carefully, it is apparent the shooter has a backpack of some kind, so they were probably looking to do massive damage. Also, the shooter either has long hair or something else loose about the face as they seem to ask where the bathroom is. I suppose it is possible that this was a female, but you wouldn’t think so. Even so, the hesitation by the others would seem to make the shooter less dangerous in their eyes for some reason. It is almost as if they didn’t believe the shooter would follow through or something. Very odd. I don’t hear anything like “don’t do it” or “put it down” or anything like that either.
The CNN idiots are reporting that two defenders took him down.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing because of where the member of the church pointed when the shooter leaned over and asked him a question. “Where’s the bathroom?”
That may be in respect for the first defender who was shot and likely gave his life for others. I give them a pass on that.
Amazing how much more effective an “Armed defender is using proper two-handed grip at a target that looks @ around 30 feet!
Right after the shooting stopped it looks like at least four church members are advancing toward the area of the downed shooter with pistols drawn. If the shot that took out the perp was fired by the uniformed guy it was a great quick shot.

Just ‘before’ he gets out of the back pew, walks around it and speaks to his first victim.....you can see is long locks dangling out there and his baggy coat..
The defender that was shot would have done better to just rush the shooter, I'm not sure what that hesitation is all about. Maybe they knew the shooter or they felt the shooter wasn't dangerous.

It looks like and sounds like the shooter shot three rounds and the guard shot at the same time the shooter fired his third round and went down like a sack of crap.
There were SEVERAL there packin! Loved the grandma in the middle hustling people out while holding her pistol!

Because apparently he tried to ‘talk’ to the shooter, however brief that was. The shooter isn’t one you talk down when they’ve got a gun pointing at you point blank range.
I just watched it a few more times. The first person shot while attempting to draw from behind his back was about 10 feet away, and looked like he was over 50 years old.
I’m over 50 and couldn’t close that distance with someone who already had their weapon out and pointed at me.
