I think you are right that the shooter was being watched due to his suspicious robe. The response was nearly instant.

Looks like at the beginning that the guy at the back wearing a shirt and jacket suspects something and stands up and tries to get his gun from his back waistband as simultaneously the perp is pulling out the shotgun. Perp shoots guy wearing jacket, he goes down, and then the man directly to the right of the perp is shot at (not sure if he was hit).

Perp only got off 2 shots thanks to good guy with gun. It only took 1 shot to take down the perp... apparently for good.

Interested in why the woman in the row nearest the shooter was standing while everyone else was crouched down.

I think there’s a girl involved in this.....take a look at the shooter and on the immediate left yousee a girl standing in grey sweater....now go to the video and watch her reaction as she climbs over seats crying out no no no.....

It seems she is concerned about the second man who was shot. In the video, she runs to the victim(s) as soon as the perp is taken out.

I caught that as well....she likely new him....in the video she crawls over the seats to where the two were shot and is yelling the loudest in the room..No No No..etc. she’s going berserk so likely has something to do with this..either a family member was shot or pssibly a lovers triangle.....time will tell..

In a small church like this, most members are probably known to each other, if not by name, at least by appearance. It looks like the shooter was strangely dressed in a very bulky, heavy-looking overcoat with some sort of cowl. If not a regular, he would definitely have attracted attention.

Here she is facing him standing 'after' he shot the two...then she rushes over the seats to the victims...she's somehow a part of this...

Her reaction may have saved lives by “freezing” the perp. I am supposing she knows the victims or possibly related to one of them. Or possibly she is related to the perp. Like you said though, it seems her concern is with the victims.

The blonde woman, just to the right of center, about a third of the way down, wearing a light blue or white blouse or jacket, doesn’t appear to have reacted at all, as if nothing unusual is going on.

That is a scary still (pic). That creeps me out. I’m taking notes because I can see most churches letting in someone like that as someone seeking help of some kind.
