Even though she continues campaigning for the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination, it is now clear to me that Tulsi Gabbard’s real goal has nothing to do with wining the donkeys’ nod this election cycle. Her vote of “present” on the House’s articles of impeachment ensures that she has no chance this time around, and now, in an interview with ABC News (video not yet available), she goes even further and tips her hand.
Gabbard campaigning in New Hampshire yesterday, YouTube screen grab
The Hill reports:
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hi.), a 2020 presidential candidate, elaborated on her rationale for voting “present” on articles of impeachment against President Trump, telling ABC News impeachment proceedings will only “embolden” the president.
"I think impeachment, unfortunately, will only further embolden Donald Trump, increase his support and the likelihood that he'll have a better shot at getting elected while also seeing the likelihood that the House will lose a lot of seats to Republicans," Gabbard told ABC in New Hampshire Saturday.
Gabbard, who has announced she will not seek re-election to her House seat, said she was concerned Trump’s all-but-inevitable acquittal in the Republican Senate could ensure “lasting damage” in the event that Trump is re-elected and the GOP regains control of the House.
With Hawaii among the most heavily Democrat states, she might well have a hard time returning to the House anyway. And even if she were to return as a representative, she would no doubt face hostility from Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat colleagues, and likely would be punished. Nancy Pelosi, who prays all the time for Trump, also warns, “Don’t mess with me.”

I think Tulsi Gabbard is an unusual individual who has no chance of becoming President - until after the next Civil War.
The “major” parties are breaking up. Donald Trump blew threw SIXTEEN “acceptable” Republicans like they were made of paper. The similar process for 2020 among Democrats has failed to produce anyone even CLOSE to credible.
The fact is, the two major parties are both in serious decline at the same time - AND their “candidates” are for the most part elderly and NOT really infused with wisdom.
Tulsi is running for the next phase of American politics, if we are lucky enough to return to elections after what’s coming.
Trump will get her to flip. Watch...
Strike 1, 2 and 3.
Im not sure what her stance is on baby murder. No politics were discussed, she just came to worship God at our Christmas Yves eve service.
Just to clarify.
- Abortion should remain legal and accessible. (Jan 2019)
- I consider myself pro-choice. (Sep 2012)
- Ban anti-abortion limitations on abortion services. (Feb 2014)
- Funding abortion avoids discrimination against poor women. (Jan 2015)
- Constitutional right to terminate pregnancy for health. (May 2015)
- Endorsed by EMILYs list for pro-choice Democratic women. (Aug 2012)
apparently she’s not running for reelection to the House in Hawaii, so she’s not going to have much of a power base ...
don’t be fooled: tulsi is as “progressive” as any of them; she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing, wrapping herself in patriotism while plotting the same socialist claptrap the rest are publicly espousing ... in other words, tulsi is an old-fashioned Democrat: a liar who lies about what they really believe and what they would really do if elected ...
“Maybe in 2032. We still have a 2nd or 3rd Trump term, plus 2 terms for Pompeo.”
I seriously doubt Trump will be re-elected . If he IS , he’ll go down in history as the last straight , white , Christian POTUS .
The specific holding in the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in the case of U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark was that an individual who is born in the United States to two non-U.S. citizens (i.e., citizens of one or another foreign power) who at the time of such birth are permanent residents of the U.S. is a U.S. citizen pursuant to the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
This may be how your grandparents became citizens.
By the way, did your grandparents parents eventually become U.S. citizens and if so how and when because at that time in the U.S. the citizenship status of minor children may have followed that of their parents.
I’m not fooled by her at all.
As I said... she’s a democrat. Therefore, on the wrong side of everything and anything American.
