I liked very much that he wasn’t TERRIFIED of saying things that should have been laughed at and forgotten 10 minutes later but INSTEAD drove the SJW’s INSANE.
Anyone who can do that is ok in my book
All the years I worked in NYC, I was a loyal Howard Stern fan until he left terrestrial radio. Then I got a chance to listen to Imus, and I didn’t get what was the big deal about him. Frankly, Kurtis and Kuby were MUCH more enlightening AND entertaining than both Imus and Howard, even if Kuby was a radical leftist and Kurtis embellished the known truth. Nonetheless, RIP.
I’m sad to see him go, but there are pros and cons about him > IMO.
I enjoyed his program at times.
Yeah, but after his Nappy Hos observation, he folded like a cheap suit on his Apology Tour
So ...
I have a question for yourself, or any of the other new-yawker’s out there.
Back in 1989, I spent some time as a co-op with IBM in lovely Poughkeepsie. On my way to ‘work’ in the morning, on the AM radio (crappy Ford Escort AM radio), I would catch this morning show out of NY with comedy bits, including one of the radio personalities would do this amazing Bullwinkle impression.
My favorite of these was Bullwinkle’s version of “Stairway to Heaven”.
Does anyone have any idea who that was, can it be found on youtube, anything like that?
Wondering...
