One cannot be a true Christian and disobey the teachings of the Holy Bible.
Romans 1:27 - And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And Christ certainly did not come to earth as a refugee fleeing Heaven, thus not being born a refugee, while Joseph and Mary were legal tax-paying citizens of Rome. In addition, Egypt had been folded into the Roman Empire, to which Joseph fled to avoid Herod who would have murdered Christ, like as abortionists do to innocents (it was Herod’s country after all, under his jurisdiction). Thus if anything, Joseph’s flight to Egypt was more akin to fleeing mandated abortion to California for Texas rather than fleeing Mexico to the U.S. There is also no reason to think that Joseph was particularly poor.
Where were you when Neil Gorsuch was nominated for SCOTUS and loads of FReepers were saying his liberal "social justice" church with its "womyn priestess" as pastor didn't matter? (oh, and of the two Episoplian congregations in his hometown, Gorsuch and his wife joined the more liberal one INSTEAD of the one that supports traditional marriage. Interesting, isn't it?)
