State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus said in a statement Saturday that the U.S. is "concerned" by a request for military support by the Government of National Accord (GNA). The U.S. is also concerned about the Libyan National Army's (LNA) "threat to use foreign-supplied air assets and mercenaries."
Forces led by the LNA's Khalifa Haftar have been supported by Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Russian mercenaries, according to the wire service, which cited diplomats and Tripoli officials.
A U.S. official told Reuters that the presence of the Russian forces is "creating a bloodier conflict."
"More civilian damage, damage to infrastructure like the airports..hospitals have been targeted. But at the same time we dont see that Haftar is gaining ground," the person reportedly said.

The only thing Hellary and Obummer fixed was their economic futures. At our expense.

Egypt has sent a consignment of T-72 tanks to the LNA. The GNA hopes to push the LNA back out of Tripoli which it just entered.
The 3000 Turkish Muslim Brotherhood (SADAT) contingent consists of AQ and ISIS jihadists from Syria, via MIT (Turk Intel agency), may be some Hamas troops as well. Included are a steady supply of weapons systems, including anti-tank rockets and drones.
Egypt supplies the LNA with Intel, Russia supplies 1000s of Wagner mercs; the UAE supplied six US-made Archangel ISR planes - now made into bombers.
Egypt has said if the Turks send their troops, the EAF will use them for target practice.

Hitlery’s gift that keeps on giving— and her subsequent payoff for it from ELF Aquitaine French Oil firm (getting back their nationalized oil fields), The City of Londong Gold ETF exchange (since Quadaffi had minted Libyan gold in to coins to be sold by the country and not the exchange. Here’s a question—WHERE IS THE LIBYAN National Gold, right now?), and finally the Muslim Brotherhood and the Russian state/Talwaleed Saudi cabal of the past.
All of the above paid this harridan from Hell, to remove Qadaffi (who had given up all his nuke programs!) in favor of ISIS arms transfer to/through Benghazi to Turkey thence to Syria for the mccain “moderate” rebels (who WERE alqaeda, and still are).
SHE DID THIS, by God— and she should pay for such craven deliberate self enrichment and incompetence.

You should see the idiot liberals at Yahoo (yes, that was very redundant) that are STILL repeating the “Russia” lie about President Trump every day of the week.
These people are truly brainwashed by the liberal media. Scary, that people can be that stupid and ignorant.

[Whatever happened to Kadaffis $5 Billion in Gold?]
I don’t know. But Obama just bought another house for $18.5 million (or such).
Liberals excused this, saying he’s a lawyer.
Guess Obama has been handling a lot of traffic tickets or something.
Barack Obama is so cool.

All of a sudden they’re in the news? Gosh, it’s almost like the rats need a distraction from the mess they made with their “impeachment” fiasco. (Aka treasonous acts)

Why our concern?
- Oil. They have the highest reserves in all of Africa. And are important to the European market. That makes it more their concern than ours. But still important.
- THey border 6 other African countries. Instability, or jihadist behavior in Libya can spill over.
- Kidaffi at one point supported international terrorism. He stopped after Reagan bombed him. But it could resuface.
- Kidaffi also was researching nuclear missles. I believe that stopped after 9/11 when he made W's target list.
- That the terrorism and nuclear threats seem diminished, doesn't mean it's been eliminated.
- The oil revenues means that Libya is the best positioned to fund nefarious activities if they so choose.
Beyond that, they are a muslim country. Supporting either side seems like the lesser of two evils. And I have no clue which is the greater evil.
I'm for installing Christians in leadership positions, and radically transforming their religious landscape.

I thought the State Department policy was: “We came, we saw, Ghadaffy died.” Why would they be worried about the aftermath?

The oil revenues means that Libya is the best positioned to fund nefarious activities if they so choose. But the thing is, none of those things are any concern of mine, or of the US.
Instability in Africa is a given, it's Baltimore but 10 000x bigger. Kadaffi is dead. If Libya actually HAS any money to spend on terrorism, fine. Kill the terrorists. And Europe needs oil? F*** 'em.
That about covers it.
