After pushing for months to impeach President Trump, Nancy Pelosi abandoned all urgency on Thursday, playing coy on when she would send the case to the Senate - where Republicans accused her of getting “cold feet.”

But, confronted with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s far dimmer view of the impeachment hearings as the “most rushed, least thorough, and most unfair” in modern history, Pelosi’s pre-Christmas cheer soured.
McConnell’s remarks, Pelosi said, “reminded me that our Founders, when they wrote the Constitution, they suspected there could be a rogue president. I don’t think they suspected we could have a rogue president and a rogue leader in the Senate at the same time.”
When a reporter followed with, “To that end, you’re criticizing McConnell today …,” Pelosi cut off the inquiry and grew dour.
“Any other questions on any other things?” she testily asked reporters. “Anyone want to talk about the Mexico free trade agreement? Anybody care about that? Jobs for the American people? Progress in addressing globalism and the issues?
“Any other questions because I’m not going to answer any more questions on this,” she scolded.

Good analogy. So Pelosi has decided that the only way for her to get out of this mess is to never put her cards on the table ... even if it means getting someone to pull a fire alarm in the casino in the desperate hope that everyone flees and forgets about the poker game.
There was a question as to whether the impeachment was still effective since we are going into another session and it hasn’t been delivered to the Senate.
She is a rotten biytch! She talks about “jobs.” Her policies destroy jobs, the economy, and the country.
Lifetime politicians like her need to be kicked out of office.

The Democrats have always been the socialist party. The difference between today’s Democrat Party and the old Democrat Party is that they were able to hide their true goals.
They hide their goals behind emotional labels (for the children or it is only fair).
Leading up to the 2016 election they were convinced that they have finally won it all and it was no longer necessary to hide their true goal, turn America into a Socialist (globalist) utopia where the elite would rule the world.
Then President Trump shows up and their house of cards comes falling down. The only way to accept the fact they lost was to deny it.
I heard that as the Allies were pushing the Germans back into their homeland Hitler (and I am not saying Pelosi is Hitler) but Hitler was in his bunker giving order to move (non-existent) troop around to defend the border. The war was lost but no one would tell Hitler it was over.
World wide the tide is turning from GLOBALISM to NATIONALISM. Citizens of these nations have begun to defend their nation, language, culture and beliefs against the one world elite. People are deciding that DIVERSITY is not a strength but a virus introduce to destroy nations.
But within the bubble created by the media many Democrats think they are the majority (and right) while those that oppose them are in the minority and need to be sent to re-education camps so they can see the light.
Pelosi is in her bunker moving pieces on a map sure she will be able to defeat ORANGE MAN but not realizing in the real world she is powerless and will soon lose it all.
Total Meltdown will come when President Trump gets to appoint another Supreme Court Justice.
Present her with a Hobson’s choice: She wants her witnesses and more investigations in the Senate, fine. Here’s a list of our witnesses for OUR investigations: the Bidens,Schiff, Nadler, etc.
Oh having been through the pre-Revolution and the War our founding fathers knew and suspected every kind of human skulduggery imaginable including factions, parties and the deep state.
What we really see is that Pelosi never guessed that not only would we elect a President who was not agreed upon by the deep state, but that the Senate Majority Leader would break loose from the contraints. Perhaps with a President behind him, and something of a rogue AG, Mitch feels he can worry about his legacy a little bit. Patriotism and ethics are like a contagion.

What possible interest could ScatFranNan have in that? Can someone please get a copy of the most recent employment numbers and read it to her. Then translate it into sixth grade language so dim bulb can understand it.

I will argue that the Pelosi statement is actually nothing, perhaps even an accident to create discussion over the holidays. In a purpously slow news period where good news actually prevails, impeachment will be the topic.
All the stupid heads have crawled from under the woodwork continuously pronouncing all sorts of crappy garbage.
The timing on the Clinton impeachment was nearly identical and the house anagers not put forward till january 9. Pelosi can and easily act in a similar manner while having her name front and center for two weeks
The real news is purposely being ignored
Christmas sales are record, both from stores and online. The markets ignored the impeachment knowing it is meaningless and daily sets new record highs. Brexit is now a certainty. Trade with the UK is surely to grow. The China trade deal is a reality. the Canada/Mexico trade deal is a reality. Judges are being approved at a record level. The Democrat presidential debates are being ignored. The Ukraine corruption is being outed and there is palpable fear. and most important, the President Trump approval is increasing
Bottom line...... the loser pelosi is powerless to prevent the actual losing and just continues to lose
The last thing Nan wants to talk about is the fact that the unemployment numbers are lower than they’ve been decades.
Yeah, a shame no courageous reporter was there to ask, "Yes: Jobs for America! How do you explain Trump's historic success in that regard? Yes, the new Free Trade Deal: Aren't you grateful that Pres. Trump...?"
