The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court this week blasted the Federal Bureau of Investigation for misconduct in the Carter Page surveillance warrant. Some would call this accountability. Others will more rightly call it the FISCs shocked to find gambling moment.
...
On Feb. 7, 2018, Devin Nunes, then chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, sent a letter to Judge Collyer informing her of its findings in his probe of the FBIs Page application. He wrote that the Committee found that the FBI and DOJ failed to disclose the specific political actors paying for uncorroborated information that went to the court, misled the FISC regarding dissemination of this information, and failed to correct these errors in the subsequent renewals. Mr. Nunes asked the court whether any transcripts of FISC hearings about this application existed, and if so, to provide them to the committee.
Judge Collyer responded a week later, with a dismissive letter that addressed only the last request. The judge observed that any such transcripts would be classified, that the court doesnt maintain a systematic record of proceedings and that, given separation of power considerations, Mr. Nunes would be better off asking the Justice Department. The letter makes no reference to the Intelligence Committee findings.
Mr. Nunes tried again in a June 13, 2018, follow-up letter, which I have obtained. He told the court that Congress uncovered evidence that DOJ and FBI provided incomplete and potentially incorrect information to the Court, and that significant relevant information was not disclosed to the Court. This was Mr. Nunes telling FISC exactly what Inspector General Michael Horowitz told the world18 months sooner. Mr. Nunes asked Judge Collyer to initiate a thorough investigation. To assist her, the same month he separately sent FISC a classified summary of Congresss findings and facts to that point.

See 18.
Judges, like most politicians, are lawyers.
Lawyers. Public Enemy #1
We will need peoples’ courts following a general uprising to get justice.
Seems the only way...
Meanwhile...10 mos. prior to the Nunes letter...

The Landmark Legal Foundation friend of the court briefing occurred right after the submission of the 2nd renewal application in April and well before the 3rd renewal application at the end of June.
Once again things we discussed here about to years ago. This is all a big farce
Better question: Why does a “free and open society” have secret courts to begin with?
The secret police state needs secret courts in order to remove threats to their existence. Case in point Donald Trump. When he decided to do things in a different manner than what the established old guard was used to, they reached out to their buddies in the secret courts through the FBI to help “remedy” the problem.
Read the Strzok/Page texts. They had to meet the Judge at a party so there wouldnt be a record of their meeting. Illegal as hell right there.
Just my humble opinion but I do believe that if Barr (or someone) does not start indicting coup conspirators soon the country wont recover. So either 1) they do get indicted and all this dirt comes out UNDENIABLY as litigated truth the Rats are so fond of (which is a win for us) or 2) it marks the end of the USA and we need to start getting ready for what comes after (which also is a win for us). Nothing but up side from where I stand.
The Brown SHirt Media but you knew that.
These judges are obviously corrupt - the whole lot of them. And John Roberts, too, who is supposed to be supervising them. This is a great justification for repealing FISA and abolishing the secret court. A secret court is always a dangerous thing.
These judges didn’t foresee the Horowitz report or William Barr as AG. They thought they could keep their corruption covered. Now, they are attempting a CYA strategy, but it’s way too late.
Mark Levin said the other day that Landmark Legal (?) filed a motion 2-1/2 years ago with FISC about these issues, and the motion was thrown out. So, they have known for a long time that there was something rotten there, and they tried to cover it up. They must all hate Trump, but that’s not justification for what they’ve done.
We now know, due to FISA court inaction after finding out they were scammed by the FBI, that the court itself became a tool of the deep state.
The House of Representatives has gone rogue. Leadership and other parts of the FBI did. The FISA court did.
Trump has outed them all.
I dont know what Barrs process is, but this nation us being dusnantled. If he intends to take action to stop it, he might want to start before every part is laying on the side of the road, no two parts any longer still connected together.
TThe FISA court judges are part of the Deep State swamp. They knew the story long ago and did nothing.
Shut it down and arrest the judges.
The Diary of Dirty Cops morphed into the Diary of Crooked Judges.
If Barr does indict without a proper investigation the country won't recover from that either.
IOW the country is in the crapper right now. Consistent with my assessment of the situation.
Every area of government has been corrupted by the Democrats.(Using the strength of their government office against political rivals)
I talked with a dem family, card carrying union guy, now retired, on impeachment day. We were both stuck at a car repair waiting room. I asked him about impeachment and although he was not a Trump fan, he said that all the Dems care about is their own power, not people like him. He said the investigations were a waste of money. I think those folks are starting to realize that the corrupt pursuit of power will eventually destroy our country.
