The purpose of the stall is not for “popularity.”

The purpose of the stall is to get the USSC to admit ALL of the Mulehead Grand Jury testimony.

Botoxic isn’t this smart, but her handlers with Lawfare are VERY smart and so far have managed this to perfection from a certain perspective.

Sundance, at “the Conservative Treehouse” warned 2 months ago that how the House set the rules would result in exactly this verdict and process.

Again, SO WHAT.

The house already voted and passed Articles. The Senate isn’t going to remove Trump. It doesn’t matter, and nothing they throw at him reduces his popularity and his chances at re-election.

Mitch doesn’t care what Nancy does. He doesn’t dance to her tune.

Lawrence Tribe is supposedly advising her on this.

The whole fantasy that the Mullhead grand jury helps them is wishful thinking.

Simple counter.

This is just a pahtetically desperate attempt by the Dems to change the results of the Muller investigation. Muller report made it clear there is NOTHING AT ALL here. The Dems are desperately grasping at straws to try an make something out of nothing rather then doing the work the American people sent them to DC to do.

I’m not impressed with CTH’s reporting on this. Their “legal analysis” is often filled with flaws that even a layperson like me with no legal training can see.

If their intent is to drag the Mueller grand jury testimony into the process, then why did they vote on the impeachment articles before seeing it? And why did they predicate their stupid “abuse of power” charge on a phone call that took place ONE DAY AFTER Mueller's farce ended with his bizarre testimony before Nadler’s committee?

Indeed.

Have argued for months the best thing for the Dems would be to not "deliver" their extremely weak and virtually unwinnable work product to the Senate. They would remain in control of the political game and could hope to improve the battleground.

They and the MSM have a workable 24/7 back up plan if Mitch rejects undelivered charges out of hand, otherwise delivers a prompt vote of acquittal, or denies the Dem's an opportunity to present witnesses...
"Those evil R's are outrageously covering up for an obviously guilty, very corrupt president."

Lindsey's announcement/threat that the R's should not present witnesses introduces the prospect of an unknown number of wild cards.

One could wonder whether the Deep State and anti-MAGA's have determined a pliable Pelosi would make a better president than Hillary?

The proof of the pudding is in the eating, my take (I’ll eat the requisite crow if wrong) is that this a last ploy to make her base think they are going to win in the end.
USSC is not going to release Grand Jury testimony for them to paw through.
