Nancy Pelosi has instructed her caucus today not to gloat about impeaching Trump and to show unity during the impeachment debate, because they want to the American people to think they are serious and somber:

The mere fact that Pelosi had to tell her members not to gloat and cheer over impeachment just shows everyone how unserious and joyful they really are over impeaching Trump. If they were actually somber and reflective about this, there’d be no need to give these instructions.
