My money says the FISC court was in on the coup. Now they’re just feigning being indignant to cover their asses.

The judge finds it “troubling.” She ought to be breathing fire for God’s sake.

Oh my gosh.

He “blasted” them.

Wow.

THROW THEM IN PRISON!!!

These asshole Democrats need some prison time!

No prison time?

No justice.

No justice?

No need for lawyers or police.

antithetical to the heightened duty of candor

************

Antithetical? How about deceptive, deliberately misleading, biased and probably illegal?

Order seems to go out of its way to paint the NSD-DOJ as a mere victim of FBI dishonesty.

It looks like the game plan of the nomenklatura of our corrupt and vicious deep state is to try to isolate everything to the FBI and Clinesmith.

Actually this is very significant... This order will be very useful for the prosecution of those responsible when charges are brought forth. Those involved with obtaining and using these phony warrants are shaking in their boots because eventually, the hammer of justice will fall on those responsible for this fiasco.

The judge needs to use her power as a judge to hold them accountable.

Levin talked about her right out of the chute. She ignored a motion filed by Landmark Legal Foundation two and a half years ago that would have exposed this fraud.

Now she’s talking about it???

Only doing so because the IQ report exposed her inaction.

Where are the criminal charges? Like having a bank robber complaining about sloppy guards without being tried. Insane. What would happen if I did that?

“...accused FBI agents of creating a misleading impression about their basis for requesting a warrant and ordered the bureau to overhaul its process.”

The Judge here is part of the coverup. The process is fine. These guys LIED to the court.

The purpose of the FISA court is to make sure American citizens aren’t spies on unlawfully by our law enforcement and intelligence agencies. When presented with proof that our law enforcement and intelligence agencies abused that court to unlawfully spy on American citizens a judge wrote a CYA letter saying how disappointed she is and asking the FBI to never get caught again, basically.

FISA court is now being used to subvert the very purpose of the FISA court and it should therefore be disbanded, as should the FBI.

If I were standing in front of a judge and she said "you misled this court", my ass would be in jail.

“The FBI’s handling of the Carter Page applications, as portrayed in the OIG report, was antithetical to the heightened duty of candor described above,....”

Excuse me, but the whole idea of the FISC is, itself, antithetical to our entire system of government. You have a secret court, reviewing information provided by an investigatory agency that is an arm of the prosecutorial arm of the government, and issuing warrants as a result. What happens when there is (inevitably) a bunch of made up assertions? Does the accused, and everyone charged with a crime or pressured as a result, get their cases dismissed and their legal fees reimbursed? Do they get their lives back? No, of course not - because we are no longer the Republic that our Founders created, we are an oligarchy run for the interests of those in and around the permanent government.

Oh, so the judge blasted the FBI? BFD! That has no teeth whatsoever. People, LOTS of people, need to go to jail for lying to the Court - starting with one James Comey, who signed at least three of those applications. Of course, I won’t hold my breath waiting for that to happen - because it won’t, any more than Hillary is paying a price in jail for her THOUSANDS of violations of the laws of this country.

I seriously question whether the citizens of this country owe any duty or allegiance to this government - because the government is no longer of, by and for the People, it is an empty shell of what it is supposed to be - a shell maintained to deceive and rule over the people. All that we need is for 5% of the people to withhold their consent to being ruled, to go about their lives as free people, and the government will collapse...and it shouldn’t be 5%, it should be 25% or more.

I am COMPLETELY disillusioned - we can’t even punish government agents who blatantly violate the law. Any of us would be serving the rest of our lives in prison, and would be driven to bankruptcy before being convicted.

Welcome to the party, Pal(ette)!

Full CYA mode has begun. FISA court knew this shi7 was bogus within weeks, maybe even when presented in the first place.

What kept them out of the mix months ago, when it might’ve done some good and spared the country a ton of grief?
