This is all going to get watered down in the Senate. The Senate will vote to acquit roughly on a 50-50 party line vote, far short of the 2/3 majority needed for conviction. I only hope that it becomes apparent to the judicial system that Papadopoulos and Flynn were convicted by criminals in a political vendetta.

A reality check might be constructive for a lot of folks here. Just look at the bucket full of @ssholes that is brought out by the Democrats and paraded before a House or Senate committee whenever one of these contentious issues is dominating the news cycle. I first noticed this during the Kavanaugh hearings last year.

It would be interesting to see how many of the members of SCUTUS attended religion affiliated private schools for primary and secondary education. Perhaps they learned logical thinking there better than at public schools.
