The newly released report by Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz, along with his groundbreaking testimony before Congress, noted the material failures of the FBInot only the operational team, but also of the managers and supervisors, including senior officials, in the chain of commandwith regard to the FISA warrant application on Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
The inspector generals findings were so significant that he recommended the FBIs entire chain of command outlined in his report to the DOJ for consideration of how to assess and address their performance failures. According to Horowitz, these failures prevented the Office of Intelligence from fully performing its gatekeeper function and deprived the decision makers the opportunity to make fully informed decisions.
When asked if he would have submitted the Page Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) renewal applications using the information that the FBI employed, Horowitz responded, I would not have submitted the one they put in. No doubt about it. It had no business going in.
Horowitz stated in his report that all of the factual misstatements and omissions, when taken together, gave the impression that the information supporting probable cause was stronger than was actually the case.

Oh, gag!
I like to ask people what their reaction would be if the FBI knocked on your door asking for your assistance?
Comeon....eveyone said the report said there was no political bias.
BARF!
I’m a bit taken back that there were NO low/mid level agent in the FBI that sought to do the right thing and provide info to the Atty General regarding corruption within the upper ranks of the agency.
No one? Not even one person within the FBI that felt what was going on before, during, after crossfire hurricane?
Seems to me the FBI closed ranks to protect each other. Just my take.
He managed to hide those facts from the lazy reader... first thing they saw was “no bias”... sorta like mueller.. they make a way for the dems to go off half cocked. with no evidence...
Same here, which is why I do not believe there are even 5% “good ones”.

Oh, You’re the FBI? and you want my ass. ?
Well, I guess that is what you do.
Help yourself.
OH Wait. Richard Jewell says NO!
Ive said for a long time that I would invite a child molester or an arsonist to spend a night in my home before I would ever spend ten seconds speaking to an FBI official.
I first recognized that the FBI was corrupt about 30 years ago. Nothing has happened to change my opinion since.

VOTERS: FBI LEADERS BROKE LAW, SEND THEM TO JAIL
How likely is it that senior federal law enforcement officials broke the law in an effort to prevent Donald Trump from winning the presidency very likely, somewhat likely, not very likely or not at all likely?
52% of likely voters responded that it is likely that senior federal law enforcement officialsthe FBIs leadershipbroke the law in an effort to defeat Trump (36% very likely), vs. only 39% who think such FBI lawbreaking unlikely.
Who cares
Some people did some things and I guess they merely broke some rules or diluted their integrity...that’s all...
