In other words, he interpreted the rule as allowing him to schedule the minority witness hearing after the articles of impeachment had already passed.

A joke is supposed to be humorous. This should be called a travesty or an outrage.
Even the most limited of LIVers can understand the unfairness of a conviction before the defense gets to make its case. If the rats do this, it should be publicized in Republican ads and commentary every day until the election.
The more unfair they make the impeachment process, the better for the President.
This impeachment is such a phony farce and transparent scam to railroad an innocent man over absolutely nothing that everyone understands that there is no legit basis for an impeachment

But this interpretation is very, lets say, totalitarian or even “Bolshevik.”
Hearings are structured in a way that witneeses of all stripes appear and are examined to obtain consensual truth, or to ascertain judicial facts. Nadler’s interpretation of scheduling minority witnesses AFTER the report out of committee is designed to confuse or prevent consensual truth., in fact it obviates any purpose of a hearing might otherwise have. No need to have a hearing at all.The results can be proclaimed unilaterally by the Chair even before the hearing begins.
Nadler has the mind of a totalitarian, a Bolshevik.
This is a very chilling fact.
He thinks he’s the Queen of Hearts from Alice In Wonderland.
I believe they do fear the American people, but that there is some exposure (probably treason) that they fear far more.
