In other words, he interpreted the rule as allowing him to schedule the minority witness hearing after the articles of impeachment had already passed.

That’s why the Senate needs to vote day one to acquit and not allow the rats a chance to call witnesses. You just know the rats have a dirty trick up their sleeve.
Once acquitted, the the Senate can go after Nader and Schiff and the rest. This is the smartest way to handle this.
