House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler accused Senate Republicans of violating their oath to be impartial jurors in an impeachment trial, as GOP senators defended their right to work for President Trump’s acquittal.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said last week that he was working in “total coordination” with the White House — something Nadler (D-N.Y.) characterized Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” as akin to “the foreman of the jury saying he’s going to work hand in glove with the defense attorney.”
“That’s in violation of the oath that they’re about to take, and it’s a complete subversion of the constitutional scheme,” Nadler said.

Voting for articles of impeachment that are not constitutionally valid is a violation of their oath to defend the Constitution.
Conspiring with a person who knew first hand of the corruption that had occurred in the Ukraine and intentionally obstructed its legitimate investigation by the President by filing a false whistle blower report is a violation of the obstruction of justice statute.
You sound surprised, Jerry, but we both know better. This was never about Justice, or the Constitution, or fairness, or anything like that. You passed that sign post years ago, and turned the wrong way. Now it’s about partisan politics, revenge, dirty dealing, and corruption. You wanted this, and you’re gonna get it, good and hard.
Senate Republicans should be as willing to listen to the other side as House Democrats have been.

when you have no crime and zero evidence of wrong doing this is what honest and ethical people do.
