On this weeks broadcast of Fox News Sunday, former FBI Director James Comey said that the Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitzs report on the launch of the FBIs Russia probes use of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) was unacceptable.
Comey said, Hes right. I was wrong. I was overconfident as director in our procedures of the FBI and Justice have built over 20 years years. I thought they were robust enough. Its incredibly hard to get a FISA. I was overconfident in those because hes right, there was real sloppiness 17 things that should have been in the application or at least discussed and characterized differently. It was not acceptable, so hes right. I was wrong.
He added, Sure, Im responsible, I was overconfident as director in our procedures, and its important that a leader be accountable and transparent. If I were so director, Id be saying exactly the same thing that Chris Wray is saying, that we are going to get to the bottom of this because the most important question is, is it systemic? Are the problems in other cases?

Thugs rob a bank and kill two employees.
Thug says, “We were wrong, accept that we know that now and let’s move on”.
Yeah, right.
Barr needs to FIRE! the Fey Wray.
Immediately.
Otherwise the FIB has no hope of being rehabilitated.
Good God, wasnt his signature on the original FISA warrant?
"No clear intention to break any known laws... "
"Doesn't rise to the level of... "
"No evidence of political bias...."
As a manager in a bank back office I have to sign a sarbanes I key attestation that all procedures in my department are being followed. My managers attest to me and my manager attests to me and and my peers up a couple of levels to the ceo. If at any point procedures arent being followed people who have attested can be prosecuted. Shouldnt SOX apply to the federal government
Write it on your jail cell wall POS.
There were 7 errors/omissions in the first FISA. 10 total in the next 3.
Director Deep State Smirk can do anything he wishes, without consequence.
It's as if we had a Democrat Attorney General.
Comedy read about these transgressions by himself in yesterday’s News?
[Just like the rest of us?]
What a jokester.
He had the right to remain silent but not the ability.
He knows his ass is grass, and is in damage-control mode now... getting in front of the Durham report which is due for release next Spring.
I totally hate seeing his face and hearing his voice.
And that is totally apart from any “content” he has publicly produced since his appointment.
I have no idea why he survives.
LOVE your post!!
Watching the smug look drain away from Comey's face is something I want to see.
Imagining a Meme of Orange Man, palms up like hes saying
Whatd I tell ya?
looking down on these turds dressed in Orange, chained together.
Caption Now can we work together to Make America Great?
It would be HUGE for the rest of the world to you know
The BS pours out of him like a mighty stream. There were not 17 sloppy mistakes. There were 17, so far, documented acts of deliberate sabotage against a sitting president, punishable by firing squad.

yup
“As soon as I learned that this was wrong, I immediately assigned members of my staff to do a full investigation of me. I’m sure you can understand that I will be unable to comment further on this matter while that investigation is being conducted.”
Notice also, some cracks now appearing in MSM, but like Comey they all counted on the intimidation pressure they were all applying to Barr would effectively bring a halt to any sense of real justice.
Me thinks, however, the message is slowly beginning to creep in that they have pushed this Trump fellow too hard. And, that they have passed the point of no return. Like attempting to swim across a large lake, they are too far out to return to shore, so it’s either swim or drown. Panic sets in...oh my God what to do now?
Buckle up. This could get interesting.
Durham has subpoena power.
