During an appearance Saturday before dairy producers in west central Minnesota, Rep. Collin Peterson said unless he hears something to change his mind, he will not vote to impeach President Trump on Wednesday. Peterson also said he's optimistic about the dairy industry but not about the rest of the ag economy.

Yep. If they suddenly announce a delay on the vote scheduled I figure it would mean they are having trouble “whipping” the votes.
BTW, I am surprised I have never heard the vote “whipping” process called racist with it’s obvious connotations.

Any member who votes to impeach based on this frivolous, made up BS should be expelled for violating their oath of office.

Colin Peterson won't even run this fall and Minnesota will go Trump.
The backlash over bringing tens of thousands of Somalis to Minnesota will be severe.

PotUS, and his legacy, will wear impeachment by these fools like a SuperBowl ring. If President Trump is smart (and he is), he should declare that he was impeached because the Democrats are afraid of him because he keeps his promises instead of lying about them.
Trump should say he was impeached because growing the economy and bringing back jobs makes the Democrats look bad, and they can't stand that.
Trump should say he was impeached because the 2020 Democrat candidates know they can't beat him.
Trump should say he was impeached because he's good at the job, not because he was bad at it.

“Pelosi knows how many votes she needs, permission will be given to a certain number of dems in moderate districts to vote against.”
exactly ... pelosi said that no one was going to put a gun to anyone’s head, but of course that definitely means nancy WILL be putting a gun to everyone’s head ...

I believe there will be more defections and that there will not be even 216 votes. Yes I am serious.

...there will not be even 216 votes.I agree. But if Pelosi doesn't have the votes, then she won't even hold a vote.

That would be pretty sweet if Pelosi called a vote on impeachment and the vote actually failed. She would almost certainly have to resign as Speaker.

I’ve been advocating hanging but I believe violence solves some problems. This would be one of those problems. We can’t have douche bag wannabe commie wankers creating a tranny of dunces. I think some neck stretching of these anti American prima Donna’s might give the next bunch of Satan’s little helpers pause.

As a former Minnesotan, it has always surprised me that Rep. Peterson didn’t switch parties. He has always been a common sense person, something not allowed in the democrat party.

Maybe he will; maybe this will be his time. That other guy — VanDrew or something — probably will switch this week. If so, that could start a ball rolling.

Theyre trapped. If they vote yes they anger their constituents and get tossed out of office. If they vote no they anger the moonbat base and get cut off from Democrat re-election funds and they still get tossed out of office.
This is one vote they would rather duck. The Democrat leadership can allow them to vote present or just skip the vote.
If it failed, the moonbats would be up in arms but they can always impeach Trump again down the road.
Letting Trump position himself as a martyr is a fools errand and theres no point in doing it when the Senate will acquit him anyway.
Why bother? So much political pain for zero gain.

And if it goes to the Senate they lose. Either...
- Trump is immediately acquitted and they lose or
- Trump drags out all the corruption he was concerned about and the corruption that led to the impeachment and the Senate acquitts and they lose.
