Less than half of employees are projected to go along when the Trump administration moves headquarters for the bureau overseeing the country

What a great way to get rid of 50% of the sluggard bureaucrats that infest our government.
How to start draining the swamp.
I’m inclined to agree. If POTUS/anybody could halve every govt entity in America, they would still have too many people with nothing to do.
Good riddance. People who don’t want to live in or near open lands have no business regulating open lands for what is supposed to be our Bureau of Land Management.
Bugs Bunny logic solves most any problem I encounter in my job. It’s easy to draw on. I learned it before higher learning taught me less productive problem solving skills like they use in higher government.
Never heard of the PPP lists have you???
Why no young fella, this is Pismo Beach"
Ahhhhh......I must have made a wrong turn going out of Dulles"
“You can imagine the reasons.”
Horsehockey!
The Office & Job is now in Colorado.
Want the job? Move.
If not, Eff You.
Fewer federal employees? As if that’s a bad thing.
Now relocate the UN next to an airbase in the Midwest!!
Hey, it’s much easier to guard in security terms. There’s no need for the UN crew to be in NYC, menacing the locals with their diplomatic immunity ... let them do their important work on the Prairies
Well Kit, 10 years ago, I moved my family 600 miles even thought we had family, kids in high school and all the other whiny stuff you mentioned.
Private sector sometimes tell you you’re no longer needed and you get to go find a new job. I had two minutes notice my job of 18 years was disappearing. Two minutes. Chew on that for a while
For our sake though, put tracking collars on the percentage that survive the relocation. For scientific purposes of course.
Send the state department deep staters to an office in Barrow Alaska. No communication, just an office and their paycheck.
EPA Cutting off large number of scientists that are on boards and taking federal funds
Squeeze is on
Im not seeing a problem.

Winning cannot get old.
It’s a great start.
But how do you keep from giving these federal workers first dibs on other Federal jobs?
(I’m assuming that given the problems and excesses of the FLMB, that many of these are bad apples.)
What other agencies can be moved out of D.C.?
There is such a thing as teleconferencing, skype, texting, sat phones.
Entire businesses run worldwide with staff all over, even on ships. Fancy that.
No, there is no “problem” and I don’t feel a whit sorry for any of these bureaucrats. Businesses in the private sector relocate all the time and you are often lucky if you get an offer to go with them. These government types make considerably more than their private sector counterparts ad have total job security; let them go, either from their jobs or to their jobs, so what??
Excellent!
Drain the swamp and dig out the Deep State bullies for all real Americans to see.
Plenty of trees out West, if needed.
