“This is about bringing the conservative message to the people of the United States,” said Fischbach. “So that people understand that we’re looking at do-nothing Democrats. They are obsessing about impeachment and not really doing anything for the people of the United States anymore.” […]

Words mean things. To understand the enemy, you have to READ what the enemy has written. And this enemy has been telling us what they intend to do to us for decades.

Too many on our side don’t understand the fundamental nature of what we are up against.

Perhaps the most thorough, well-founded and complete explanation of how the Framers of America's Constitution of the United States of America "constituted" a form of self-government which was--in the words of Benjamin Franklin, "A Republic. . . if you can keep it. . . . " can be found in John Quincy Adams's "Jubilee" Address, delivered, by invitation of the New York Historical Society, in New York City in April 1839. That Jubilee Address magnificently explained the reasons for the Framers' choice of republic over that of a democracy.

If you want to have handy for constitutionally-illiterate Progressives who may call this a "democracy," then you want to read that Address.

Today, in 2018, when confronted with a decision between individual freedom and slavery, otherwise known as liberty and tyranny, Americans who prefer freedom must be armed with ideas and principles which are "self-evident" and plain. Otherwise, they cannot fend off the onslaught of the "counterfeit ideas" of Progressive ideologues.

When America's Founders and Framers of their Constitution wanted to convince ordinary farmers and citizens of the merits of a written "People's" Constitution to limit the powers of those to whom they entrust the powers of government, they published and circulated 85 essays, known as THE FEDERALIST.

It's time for citizens, once again, to examine those strong and clear words of Madison Hamilton, and Jay. They are just as clear for today's audience as they were then. Circulate the following excerpts to your friends. Even the least politically savvy will "get" Madison's meaning, especially in light of the power grab now going on in Washington. After all, THE FEDERALIST was the Framers' authoritative explanation of their Constitution, and directed by the Board of Visitors of the University of Virginia in 1825 to be used as the text for its law school in its studies of "the general principles of liberty and the rights of man," and said by Jefferson to "constitute 'the general opinion of those who framed, and of those who accepted the Constitution of the U.S., on questions as to its genuine meaning.'":

Note particularly the following words of wisdom from Federalist No. 63, and take heart. You are doing what you were meant to do when you speak out on intrusions on your liberty.  According to Madison:

In these critical moments, how salutary will be the interference of some temperate and respectable body of citizens, in order to check the misguided career, and to suspend the blow meditated by the people against themselves, until reason, justice, and truth can regain their authority over the public mind?" - Federalist Papers, No. 63, 1788

I don’t think so. As Wilson saw things, democracy is synonymous with socialism; clearly he got that idea from Marx, Engels and like-minded people. From this perspective, democracy is synonymous with communism also; therefore, communism would not confront itself.

Is there a definition of democracy that is at odds with Wilson’s definition, i.e. a system of government that puts community (collective) rights above individual rights? So far, the more democratic the US Constitution got (particularly after the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Amendments), the less free our republic has gotten.

I missed that former LT Governor (State Senator elevated to that office automatically against her preference) Michelle Fischbach is running against Colin “Pelosi!” Peterson.

It’s time to finally send him packing. Frankly it’s a must win.

Former nominee (16/18) Dave Hughes is also running. John Kline was elected on his third try if you recall.

Collin Peterson was elected on his 4th try. He ran for Congress in 1984, 1986, 1988 and 1990. He failed to get the nomination in 1988 because he was considered a perennial loser. He came back anyway on that 4th try to knock off GOP incumbent Arlan Stangeland.

The prior GOP nominee, Dave Hughes, is very cash-poor. He has only $18,500 on hand. State Sen. Michelle Fischbach has under $85k. Another candidate is leading in the money race, a Dr. Noel Collis has $129k.

Peterson still has over $900k. Dems are not going to be short on $$, as they have fully directed the biggest $$ to the freshmen members in GOP districts. Last I checked months ago, most will have at minimum $1 million, and likely far more.
