All three networks devoted reports Wednesday to hyping radical Swedish teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg being honored by Time Magazine today with their “Person of the Year” award. Journalists from ABC, NBC, and CBS all praised the “deserving” “good choice” and touted the teen “taking on” world leaders while “inspiring” other teens to become climate evangelists.
NBC spent the most time groveling over Greta. They even had Time’s editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal on to puff up the teen as “the biggest voice on the biggest issue facing the planet this year,” leading a “worldwide movement.”
Today show co-host Hoda Kotb praised the radical teen’s “brutal honesty” while “confronting world leaders about climate change” with her, “how dare you!” scolding.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, on the third hour of Today there was more fangirling by the NBC journalists. The panel lauded the “good choice” from the magazine.
Today co-host Sheinelle Jones marveled at the 16-year-old’s “sweet voice” that she used to bash world leaders with at the UN summit: “And she's got that sweet voice….Everybody thought, aww look at this cute little girl, and she went for it!"
“She’s the face of young social activism,” fellow co-host Craig Melvin touted, adding that she was “woke.”

Say, time magazine, are you glad to see me or is that a truck load of irrelevance in your pocket. So, high school drop outs are now lauded and admired? Assclowns united could do a better job. 1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.
2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

Hey kids! Life is not like that. You don’t get to play hookey from school and ride for free on someone’s luxury yacht. You have to work and earn a living. This may be hard to accept for someone coming from a socialist paradise like Sweden, but you need the majority of people working productively, or it all collapses.
Our civilization has gotten to where it is in part by using petroleum products, which are in the ground and provide energy, free for the taking. If you want us to go back to sitting around campfires at night before going into our thatched huts to sleep, then keep trying to eliminate petroleum products.

The entire Greta phenomenon is fake. This is a media creation, planned and executed by people who came up with it in a media company boardroom. Her appeal is supposed to be to young people, but she is pushed by media outlets that young people don’t watch.
