All three networks devoted reports Wednesday to hyping radical Swedish teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg being honored by Time Magazine today with their “Person of the Year” award. Journalists from ABC, NBC, and CBS all praised the “deserving” “good choice” and touted the teen “taking on” world leaders while “inspiring” other teens to become climate evangelists.
NBC spent the most time groveling over Greta. They even had Time’s editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal on to puff up the teen as “the biggest voice on the biggest issue facing the planet this year,” leading a “worldwide movement.”
Today show co-host Hoda Kotb praised the radical teen’s “brutal honesty” while “confronting world leaders about climate change” with her, “how dare you!” scolding.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, on the third hour of Today there was more fangirling by the NBC journalists. The panel lauded the “good choice” from the magazine.
Today co-host Sheinelle Jones marveled at the 16-year-old’s “sweet voice” that she used to bash world leaders with at the UN summit: “And she's got that sweet voice….Everybody thought, aww look at this cute little girl, and she went for it!"
“She’s the face of young social activism,” fellow co-host Craig Melvin touted, adding that she was “woke.”

It is always easy to say you are for something
Kids will always say they are “for the environment” that is easy to do, just say you are for it, post some environment stuff on facebook, instagram, etc and click like on pro environment stuff you see on line. Easy to do. School teaches you this is a good thing and you are good person if you do this.
However being for the environment is a total different matter. Kids are natural slobs, they trash everywhere and their rooms could be classified as landfills, they still ride in cars, still charge of their iphone, still live in heated/cooled homes, still take 30 minute long showers with hot water, still buy clothes made of nylon, rayon, cotton, etc that are all bad for the environment. So saying and doing are two totally different things. Clicking like on “Global warming is bad” on facebook doesn’t make global warming go away..... They don’t seem to understand that

It is easy to say you are for something, then to actually do the work.
Also convenience, it is more convenient to live in a house with heat and AC then to build a mud house out of mud and sticks and try heating it with a fire, oh wait fire would be bad as well releasing that evil carbon into the air, I mean a solar panel with electric baseboard heating, oh wait, the solar panel contains toxic chemicals and the baseboard heater is made of metal that requires fossil fuels to extract releasing carbon to manufacture.
That is why they are all hypocrites/lazy because they can’t live the life that they demand everyone else to live.
I saw an article from the Babylon Bee last week: New Greta On The Shelf Doll Will Track Your Climate Sins that I found hilarious...I know that fundamentally this is serious, but...I just can't help laughing at the Left.
All these memes, Greta as The Joker (Batman) Greta as Hitler Youth, Greta on The Billboard...they all reflect the fact she is the epitome of a brainwashed, spoiled kid that the Left wants to turn EVERY kid into, and are brilliantly succeeding at so they can scold their parents, and eventually inform on them.
Sadly.
I think her parents should be prosecuted for child abuse for twisting and manipulating her for a political agenda.

Nobody knows. In that press conference that woman asked her that question and not even Greta knew. She hesitated then answered by saying “We’ll be watching you”.
Watching what?
Then she makes accusations saying we destroyed her childhood, whole ecosystems are collapsing, mass extinctions are occurring.
Yeah, and? That’s been going on ever since life appeared on earth, how is that destroying her childhood? She looked well fed to me.

I suppose only home grown nourishment since store bought stuff would require shipping using evil fossil fuels. Does it only use wood for heat and cooking? Does it know that also releases things into the atmosphere?
