Post 16 - Spot-on
Read post 17. No one knew of Strozk-Page emails at the start of the investigation. Horowitz did not say what the media says. He clearly says OPEN and no documentary evidence. It is easy to open an investigation. But no where does he say that the full investigation was without bias. He is a complete jerk and white-washer, but he did not say what the media says he said.
“We did not find documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the decisions” to open investigations into four Trump campaign aides, the report says.
wow..a balanced piece from Rollingstone..bashing te media
Corroboration Zero: An Inspector Generals Report Reveals the Steele Dossier Was Always a Joke
last line:No matter what people think the political meaning of the Horowitz report might be, reporters who read it will know: Anybody who touched this nonsense in print should be embarrassed.
Horowitz with his report did the same thing as Comey did with the email testimony: declare it not a crime and then lay out a ton of evidence that it was.
That’s Barr already did with the Comey leaks to create a special prosecutor. I expect he will do the same again once Durham wraps up his whitewash.
Or is it Whore a witz?
Exactly. It’s called politically-motivated deliberate indifference.
Gee, Harris, Booker and Klobuchar, 3 stooges running for president, well Harris is now a former candidate. Someone should ask them if it would be okay to have the FIB to lie and break laws as well as rules in an effort to smear them.

This is Article 1 in a series of stand-alone articles on basic probability. A common topic in introductory probability is solving problems involving coin flips.
Here is the final model of question discussed in this article: "A fair coin is flipped 20 17 times in a row.
That is one divided by two or one-half (0.5), then raised to the 17th power. (0.000007629394531250000)
Great math problem for the home-schoolers. Again, thanks for the post.
Tip of iceburg?

@ChuckGrassley

Justice Department IG Testifies on FISA Abuse Allegations
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz discusses his report on Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuse allegations related to the 2016 presidential election.
If you think 17 mistakes all went one way without corruption and animus as the DOJ claimed yesterday despite the odds of same being mathematically proved as 1 in 131,072, well, youre not very smart. K Denninger
Another FReeper made a great analogy: that’s like flipping a coin 17 times and getting heads every time. Beyond plausible.
I am having to watch the bald black guy on CBSN..he is outraged with vapors that Trump called the FBI scum. Not even Nixon did that..etc.
Why should they not be called scum? Really can’t stand this guy.
No mention of Joseph Mifsud?
Magic coin
Here are key quotes from his opening written statement.
“We believe this circumstance reflects a failure not just by those who prepared the FISA applications, but also by the managers and supervisors in the Crossfire Hurricane chain of command, including FBI senior officials who were briefed as the investigation progressed...”
“FBI leadership supported relying on Steele’s reporting to seek a FISA order targeting Page after being advised of, and giving consideration to, concerns expressed by a Department attorney that Steele may have been hired by someone associated with a rival candidate or campaign.””
“We are deeply concerned that so many basic and fundamental errors were made by three separate, hand-picked investigative teams; on one of the most sensitive FBI investigations; after the matter had been briefed to the highest levels within the FBI; even though the information sought through use of FISA authority related so closely to an ongoing presidential campaign; and even though those involved with the investigation knew that their actions were likely to be subjected to close scrutiny.”
___________
It should be more than obvious by the end of the day.
Lindsey Graham better be as good as these Bloody Marys with his opening.
“Deeply concerned”
That will do the trick.
And Chris Wallace just says some mistakes were made.
I can’t watching him spin a thousand miles an hour.
