Artificial Pyramid Casing Stones: Ancient Geopolymer High Technology ???
Ancient Architects ^ | 12/20/2017 | Brian Forester

This video continues our study of ancient construction techniques. It presents the argument that the base casing stones of the most familiar pyramids may have been molded by some technology which used geopolymers (stone slurry?)

This is similar to the speculation that the Incan stone walls were constructed using a similar process.

“Lined with gold? Gee, and all of these years I thought the cap stone on top of the Great Pyramid was white limestone. The limestone would reflect the sunshine for many miles.”

You are both right about the great Pyramid. The Cap Stone was layered with gold, and the whole Pyramid from the bottom to the Cap Stone on all eight sides was indeed cased with polished limestone. Together it must have been quite a sight with the sun shining on it.

carving limestone blocks the size of mobile homes with copper tools,

Interestingly enough there is a lot of iron ore in Egypt; they used an iron tool in the Opening of the Mouth ceremony for the dead; W Budge also mentions a steel tool used in the same ceremony (Book of the Dead -1887) - this iron is assumed by Hawass & Lehrer to be meteoric iron.

Also any existing iron tools would have been seen as valuable, stolen, sold during any one of the Interregnums between the Kingdoms. Also the Arab muslims in the 7th century would also have stolen anything valuable like iron tools (for making knives and swords) leaving the copper and stone tools behind.

There is also a way to harden copper such that it is harder than steel.

That is not the case.

Yes it is, but as I have to go to an appointment, I’m unable to give you the reference - but it is available with a search.

I have done some research on this. Copper can be alloyed with nickel, making the resulting material reach 180 on the Brinell scale. That is harder than low carbon steels or even really high carbon iron. High carbon steels (not as high as cast iron) are usually around 388 on that scale. Tool steels are in the 620 range on that scale.

The ancients were more likely to make high carbon steels because they did not know how to purify metals other than repeatedly melting and then scraping off the dross. They had no knowledge of elements, so it is unlikely they could mix materials. They could luck out when fining ores of quality.

The high-nickel allow copper was apparently a fluke of luck whenever they found such combinations in ore. Fine steels were made from meteorites because those contained a lot of nickel and not so much carbon.

Copper-Nickel alloy would be harder than iron containing a lot of carbon. It would be an "accidental" material.

Under no circumstances will a copper alloy be harder than tool steels.

There is a youtube video “The Artificial Pyramid Casing Stones - Ancient Geopolymer High Technology - Ancient Architects”. Which shows a rock carving listing various elements needed to make stone castings - look for your self.

Be wary of what the current Egyptian meme says - there are a lot of known problems with it. Not the least is the accepted dating which is based on known forgeries.

There is another method for hardening copper - the one you mention is not it.

Properties of elements are very well known. Elemental copper cannot be hardened beyond a specific point. It must be in alloy in order to have different properties.

People who claim the ancients were more knowledgeable than we just don't know any better. I used to hang out with "New Age" people. Their knowledge of physics or chemistry was non-existent. They also had no idea what the current state of the art had achieved. They had delightful imaginations, and were frightfully gullible.

What’s interesting is that most likely the tip of pyramids were layered with gold. Some suggest that when the sun shined that one could see the pyramids from thousands of miles way on a clear day.

Back in the '80s I flew into Cairo and even with most of the outer casing removed, you could spot them MILES away.

Sitchen opined that they were beacons wherein the Nephilim coming down from space could line them up with their landing area. Fanciful or not, I'll bet with their casing intact they would have easily been spotted from above.

You would be surprised what can be done with poles, levers and blocks of wood. I used to work with banking equipment and I saw 3 guys move a vault the size and weight of one of those stones 200 feet through a parking lot, a bank and up stairs using just those things. And it took them about 2 hours.

And so its child’s play for modern sculptors to carve Ramses Statues and the ornate columns found at Karnak as well as the granite boxes of the Serapeum of Saqqara using just the tools found in the archaeological record? Which set of stone and copper tools achieve a consistent 4 mm corner radius over and over again?

Building the complex at Giza to scale takes merely a few months or so for modern engineers?

So building the Giza Complex based on the Golden Mean, Fibonacci numbers, and the Coma of Pythagoras was just a fortuitous accident? As was the alignment with the stars of Cygnus?

I think you have vastly underestimated what the ancients actually achieved - likely based on casual glances. The more those few artifacts are studied, the more complex they become to actually build or carve; the more unlikely that the assumed tools and methods used, as further assumed by archaeologists, become.

You also understand that anything like advanced knowledge of physics and chemistry found by Egyptologists (Hawass & Lehrer) would be immediately suppressed and hidden, if not destroyed, because it would contradict the current lucrative meme?

Bull

How many people worked on building those statues and pyramids, and how long did they work? Serving a lifetime for a "god" even to partially complete something that was passed on to the son would be a source of dedicated labor.

I never said they didn't have an understanding of math. I never did say that they weren't patient and tenacious workers. I merely said that they did not do anything that we cannot do right now. The cathedrals of Europe prove that post-ancient people can make some spectacular things. On the other hand, we aren't working for gods. We work for pay; and, nobody wants to pay for immense works of art these days. We have no god-kings who make such demands.

We do have hobbyists who spend a lifetime making incredible model railroads or ships. We even have people who work with hand tools making tiny gasoline engines that actually run. If they were gathered together on a project of some sort, imagine what they could do. The point is, we just don't need to make Egyptian-like stuff anymore. The god-kings no longer rule. Nobody else wants a tomb like those.

OK. And they were not tombs, if you were referring to the Giza Pyramids. Everything else you wrote is based on your own apparent assumptions which are wildly in error. We cannot build anything like what they built out of stone; that has been proven over and over again with many attempts ending in failure - we do not even have machines that can lift some of those stones.

End of debate, please.
