Law professor Jonathan Turley told CBS anchor Norah O'Donnell that "his wife and dog" have received threats after he testified in front of the House Judiciary last week as part of impeachment proceedings.
“I know you received a lot of threats after what you did last week,” O’Donnell told the George Washington University law professor during CBS coverage of the impeachment hearings that took place on Monday.
“And my wife and dog,” Turley noted.
"To be fair, you did talk about them during your testimony. You did bring up your wife and dog," O'Donnell responded, referring to Turley's mention of his wife and dog during his opening statement last week.
“Who would shoot a Goldendoodle?" Turley asked in response. "Maybe a Shih Tzu, but not a Goldendoodle. I don’t understand where the anger comes from. Although as an academic, the thought that you could talk about James Madison and that would be fighting words is something I haven’t seen outside of a law school.”

I’m afraid I have to agree with you there. As someone said a couple weeks ago, America is a nation on the brink of civil war.

My sister had a large German Sheppard, she was moving and the LEO were looking for dogs to train. She showed him to the cops and they refused, saying he has to be able to follow a perp through a basement window. Big ain’t always good. Stout, loyal, smart, and compact that’s the ticket. Size in the dark and one coming for you is not so important. It wouldn’t be pretty.
Turley may be a conservative by the time this is over.

This would end Norah O’Donnell’s career if we have a functioning media with ethics. We don’t.
Norah’s career needs to end over this.
