Trumping a Low Pair
American Thinker.com ^ | December 8, 2019 | Clarice Feldman

The week ended with the President trumping a low pair -- congressmen Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler -- when White House Counsel Pat Cipollone responded to Congressman Nadler’s demand that the Judiciary Committee be informed if the White House intended to participate in the second act of the impeachment clown show. The letter in sum says, "go right to impeachment so we can have a real trial in the Senate":

In effect, he was telling the 31 congressmen who won in 2016 in districts carried by Trump, along with others on shaky ground, that they can vote for this only at substantial cost to their own careers.

What to Expect in the Senate Trial

Molly Hemmingway who, like me, doesn’t believe the President will be impeached, notes the likely witness list in a Senate hearing, which, unlike the House hearings, operates like a real trial with due process protections.

One of the Demcrap's stupidest charges is that Trump "obstructed justice" b/c he went to the courts to defend himself.

Professor Jonathan Turley destroyed Democrap's charge that Trump going to the courts is impeachable.

TURLEY: “He’s allowed to do that; we have three branches, not two.
If you make a high crime and misdemeanor out of going to the courts, it is an abuse of power.......
it’s the House's abuse of power. You are doing precisely what you’re criticizing the president for doing.”

What we (conservatives) probably should do is let the libtards know they have broken the country. The rules go out the window. From this point it is “no holds barred”. Scorched earth. But we probably won’t. We will probably justify inaction upon learning AG Barr has decided it was all just a “Frat House Prank” and not really a “coup conspiracy”. Soros will just keep writing the checks. The children of people like Pelosi and Biden will continue to occupy their places as “America’s Corrupt Oligarchs”. The Overton WIndow resumes it’s relentless drift to the Left. Trump is just a “passing thing”.

The Senate hearing at the same time the IG report, the Durham Report, and the elections will be the demise of the Democrat Party.

If they have brains, the Dems should listen to the voices and drop impeachment. They are endlessly short sighted.

Trumps secondary campaign slogan should be:

Democrats, Your Party Has Left You!

——The rules go out the window. ——
my version of that thought is:

If there is no law, there is no law.

Schiff can disregard the law as he pleases, but when he is shot dead on the street, there can be no arrest.

When there is no law, there is no law

Pelosi probably thinks that the lunatic fringe in her party will torch themselves, and that she will be untouched by the flames. Then when the demo-loonies fall out of favor, she can rule supreme until she meets her maker.

Well, they only have pea-sized brains, so you can’t expect them to use it.

“Political blunder”?

Not hardly.

This isn’t political.

This is a legal matter.

The Democrat Party leaders have committed crimes.

They don’t want to be punished for their crimes.

This impeachment baloney is all stalling and smokescreen.

Why would the Democrat leaders keep pushing this impeachment baloney when it’s ruining their party?

Because they are afraid of something worse than ruining their political party.

They are scared to death of being punished for their crimes.

Look at Pelosi’s behavior this week.

Insane or scared to death?

Look at Biden’s behavior this week.

Insane or scared to death?

Soros will just keep writing the checks.

And all that such check-writing would do is inject positive cash flow into the economy. See, there are silver linings even in a political black cloud.

Besides the so called “impeachment” issue they should be confronted on other issues like HR 9 which would permit males claim they’re female and compete in college sports

It’s a dead giveaway as soon as you see the b/c. Pet peeve. How much typing does it save to use b/c instead of a real word? 4 characters. If you are tweeting then 4 characters is a big deal. But there are no such limitations here.
