The gunman who opened fire Friday morning at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida, fatally shooting three people, has been identified as an aviation student from Saudi Arabia as investigators are looking into whether the attack is terrorism-related.
The gunman was confronted and taken out by a pair of responding officers. Two people were killed at the scene while a third victim died after being rushed to a local hospital. Seven others suffered injuries and are undergoing treatment, including the two officers, one of whom was shot in the arm and the other in the knee. Both are expected to survive.
This is a tragic day for the city of Pensacola we are a military town, our hearts and prayers are connected to all those that serve us every single day, the citys mayor, Grover Robinson, told reporters during a press conference Friday. We will overcome this, but today this is certainly a tragic day.
NAS Pensacola is home to the Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity's International Training Center, which the Navy says was established in 1988 to meet the aviation-specific training needs of international officers and enlisted students from allied nations.

Sheriff, maybe?
There are armed guards in the malls. What the hell is going on here?
I wonder whether they have any clues to the motive, or are they still clueless.
I’d like to know if he was only interested in learning to take off, and was disinterested in learning to land?
I guess the government forgot all about 9/11 where some people did something to other people.
And well said it is, one problem, there is no money to made from simple common sense. The first is almost free to the people and no profits can be made from it. The later is EXTREMELY expensive for the people and EXTREMELY profitable for the right people.
Oh... and your PENTAGON and all its occupants are having an enjoyable day I suppose...

Our dhimmis are working hard on having us properly subdued.
(R.I.P. Barbara and the rest)
Hell, we let two of them into Congress, with access to sensitive information.
Everything I need to know about those bastards was taught to me on 9-11-2001.
One might timidly suggest that our military and civilian leaders have the wrong priorities.
But I won’t say anything, because I don’t want to be banned on social media.
Who the hell is JWB?
“Trump is now in charge. He must make the change, or join BO & JWB in this group hug of the Muzzies....while our military dies”
John Wilkes Booth was involved?
20 strikes and you’re out? Unlikely.
The Amish joke isn't funny today.
I guess weve learned nothing about Muzzard aviation students.
I said the same thing back then. And yet this madness is permitted to continue because “That is not who we are.”
More sacrifices to the false God of political correctness.
I could blame it on the keyboard, but the j is nowhere near the g.
Can't make this stuff up. We saw what about 19 of them could do.

This is a GD slap in the face to every person who jumped in terror from those twin towers.
Letting Saudi military men fly military jets over American cities. Guess we are lucky he didn’t do a kamakazi into the stands at a Gators football game.
DAMN our DC politicians. DAMN them to HELL
“I assume that the Obama rot runs deep in our military.”
Baloney. Bush loved them and increased Saudi visas 16 fold after 9/11. It continued on with Obama. And hasn’t slowed down with Trump. Our military is so busy fellating the Saudis they cannot stop.
They continually tell us the Sunni Saudi terror state is our friend. It’s total BS and every red blooded American knows it.
