The way Trump overcame a candidate with EVERYTHING in her corner (but the American public) proves to me that Trump was His chosen candidate and God's ways are not man's ways. He controls even those who do not believe in Him.
What is foolish and unenlightened is to not view Trump in this way. Does this mean Trump is some godly saint? Heck, no. He couldn't even be an elder or deacon in my church. But I recognize him as clearly the man God wanted in this position and few can withstand what he has gone through these past four years.
He's a flawed man, as are all of us. My prayer is that he finds more humility and exercises more discretion in his administration and judicial choices. As long as he continues to acknowledge God in his words and deeds, I'm willing to stick with him.
He is killing it in terms of job performance and would do even better with a more cooperative Congress. Not since Reagan have I been more satisfied with a president's job performance which is exactly why he has acquired so many enemies.
