Former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama have purchased a nearly 7,000-square-foot home on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts for $11.75 million, according to a report.
The purchase price was recorded Wednesday with the local Registry of Deeds, the Vineyard Gazette reported.

I think this is only one of about five very expensive homes they own in the nation. Some of the information on the homes is spotty, so it’s hard to tell if they actually owned some of them or only leased them for a period of time.
These are the folks who are for the little guy, ‘cause it’s just not fair how those rich White guys have vacuumed up all the wealth in the nation.
But gee, Obie, aren’t you and the ‘Squatch expecting it be be under the waves in a dozen years? That’s one helluva flood insurance plan, where can I buy in?
I thought the sea level rising due to climate change was supposed to put places like that underwater in 12 years.

Presently (you can never be 100-percent sure)....there’s only two houses that they own. The house in Georgetown, DC is one of them, and the other is a house in Hyde Park, Chicago, ILL.
Anything else you hear about....is leased property.
For a while, there was some discussion that he’d end up in NY City, and I think the local tax situation convinced him to avoid that idea. And I would suggest that the Hyde Park property will come up on the market in the next year.
THIS is the guy who needs his taxes and finances investigated for the last 5+ years.

In addition to the Chicago home, there’s this new one.
I had thought he purchased a property in Hawaii. There was also talk of one in the Rancho Mirage area at one point.
While some of these are described as rentals, there’s other talk of his “friends” purchasing some property(s), and it causes you to wonder just who really owns one or more of them now.
The Hawaii property was simply a rental...I think either a one-year or two-year lease.
The Rancho Mirage property is often discussed (on a golf course, if I understand it correctly). Some news groups suggest that they bought this property....no evidence exists, and I would speculate it’s a leased deal as well.
Same story for the Dubai 5-million dollar property...that was rumored around for six months, and I think he just did a short-term lease and hung out there.
I would go and suggest that Obama wants to play a key role in the 2024 election and is planting himself in Martha’s Vineyard as a base of operation.
I think he does too.

He was the product of a group effort that lasted more than a decade, possibly more than two.
On his own without the media and big dollar backing, he would never have been elected to office, must less the presidency.
The man never accomplished much of anything. He had about as much executive experience as a second tier postal worker.
No way would that home on 30 acres on Martha’s Vineyard go for 12 million. 50 million maybe, but NOT 12 million!
As the dems put this nation and Pres Trump, through as much embarrassment and destruction the dems can mete out.... because he is not the “Martha’s Vineyard” style President .... obama goes and shows us how the bad of the world gets what they want. Pampered, protected, condescending, self loving, narcissist, barack obama...
I had hoped there would be consequences to what obama did in his 8 years... I had hoped there were one or two in the upper echelon of justice, who had not sold their soul for power... and the dems are making up their stories about Trump, trying to remove him... and those accusations are the very thing obama and hillary and that administration are guilty of. No mention of them.. no mention it was obama who withheld the money from Ukraine...no mention of the cash obama flew in to terrorists areas... no mention of the awful President he was.... doing nothing for the country but enriching himself....
To watch the powers that be, divide us and know their plans will destroy this nation and all we have had up till now... they’ve lost their minds and let greed and hate take over.
