He should wrap himself in the “Censure” and say he’s in good company - Jackson & Tyler. Jackson & Tyler were “censured” by Congresses. Some have compared Trump to Jackson as similar disruptions to the status quo. I think there something to be said for that comparison. Also the Tyler censure has some similarities

“....In 1842, Whigs attempted to impeach President John Tyler following a long period of hostility with the president. When that action could not get through Congress, a select Senate committee dominated by Whigs censured Tyler instead.[10] ....”

Censure after a failure to impeach! Recently where have we seen that!

I don’t see how this helps them. To remove the President, they would need more Republicans to not vote than they would to outright convict.

None of the people talking about using the 25th amendment to get rid of Trump seem to have read the amendment. If their scheme worked, he would still be the President (but Pence would be “Acting President”).

The Democrats are playing a dangerous game.

It is dangerous because no one knows what the real consequences would be if they actually succeed in removing President Trump.

For over 50 years (since the beginning of the Viet Nam war and the student protestors) Americans have been under attack from the left. Many values, traditions have been demonized and many values that American’s honored have become illegal. The American people are under stress like a pressure cooker.

The left has removed the safety valve (free speech, politically incorrect humor, gun rights, the right of free association with people like them and so on). The last safety valve was the ballot box. The right to select leaders they wanted.

The Democrats began their coup attempt before the President was even in office and have spent the past 3 years trying to remove him from office.

The old saying is beware of what you wish for, you may get it.

Would a successful removal from office a President that still has strong support be a catalyst for Americans to rise up and say enough is enough?

Look, the Democrats and their corrupt MSM allies are ramping up the absurd hysteria and will bring this to a crescendo ahead of the December 9 IG report. Clearly the Democrats were caught with their corrupt pants down and they need to ramp up the hysteria to try and draw attention away from the upcoming damning IG report.

Settle down.

Right. Anyone who has read the 25th Amendment would understand two simple facts:

1. It is clearly not designed to take away a President's power against his will. It's intended to address a situation where the President is temporarily incapacitated or out of contact.

2. Removing a President under the 25th Amendment requires a two-thirds vote in BOTH houses of Congress -- which means it's actually harder to remove a President under the 25th Amendment than it is to simply impeach him in the House and remove him in a Senate trial.

In order for this ploy to work, you would need at least half of the Republicans to "boycott" the vote.

I don't think that there are 25 suicidal never-Trumpers in the Senate.

Two or three, maybe, but not 25.

Conceding an election is two things. First, the conceding candidate is withdrawing from the race. Second, the act of conceding elections has a very long establish precedent and is done at nearly all elective levels. So back to the point, if Bush had conceded to Gore, thereby withdrawing his candidacy, Gore would have been president. Not Dick Cheney as in the item Alberta’s Child quoted.

Retire wouldn’t even come close to what would happen if they played this game... You would see open violence if this crap went down.

Democraps act w/ a deep understanding of how mob crime operates.

The Democraps protection racket is being run by elected made-members of an elite crime family.

They paid off bigtime to get the protection they need to engage in unspeakable crimes against a peace-loving citizenry.

The Democrap crime family includes capos----the Clintons.....the first Democraps to openly engage in
wanton criminal activity, to turn the government into a mob operation to achieve their purposes......
to get rich quick and to eliminate those who stand in their way.

Mobster Obama, born and bred in the sewers of Chicago, got the job done with the help of the mob bosses in Congress
and a host of bought-and-paid-for Judicial appointments...... all geared-up to aid and abet the mob cabal.

Made mobsters like Schiff, Pelosi and Nadler are the vanguard of the mob.

The citizens struggle against the blood oath allegiance the Democrat party demands in order to get Democrap
mobsters to aid and abet their activities......the price to get elected and reelected.

=====================================

The Demcraps know "Eliot Ness".....President Trump....is coming to close down their criminal enterprise.

Inventing impeachment serves the Democraps nefarious purposes well.

I'm talking about conceding AFTER the election, and after the vote has already been counted to show who the winner is.

As I said before -- the 20th Amendment actually addresses this exact scenario.

Second, the act of conceding elections has a very long establish precedent and is done at nearly all elective levels.

1. Can you cite a case where a winning candidate actually conceded to a losing candidate?

2. In such a case, what laws governed the result of the election? I would presume this would be governed by state law in any case other than a Federal election.

Linda earned his nickname when he and McCain were thick as thieves. I do not trust him and he always sprints to the right a year before his re-election. A month ago he swore the rat impeachment was DOA if the “whistle blower” didn’t testify. Well that faded away and when Hannity asked Graham about he ducked the question like a Heisman Trophy running back.

The Republicans are fine with that. The only issues they really care about are tax-cuts and cheap labor.
