I did not know about the female. Figures.
I have stopped watching a few of the movies after finding out the male lead was gay. Just couldn’t. Bummed me out on a couple since I liked them.
If they decide to include LGBT friendly garbage, I just won’t watch anything on there. We are looking at going to streaming. Had thought of including Hallmark in our limited line up. May have to rethink it.

I hope you all will consider going to the LifeNews site and signing the petition. It may only be a matter of time, but I hate to lose this island of lighthearted and more importantly safe family viewing. What’s left after they are gone? Pureflix is good, but they don’t have the variety level of programming
Is Hallmark perfect? No...Are there gay actors (yes, but my granddaughter need not know that)? Are they repetitive? Yes, but like McDonald’s, they are predictable...Up until now, with the exception of one movie**, Hallmark has been a dependably non-issue channel that offered happy, innocent movies that promoted chastity ...safe viewing for families—particularly young girls to watch. No big surprises... happy endings, kiss at the end.

You are correct about the movies not being overtly Christian, but many of the movies feature traditional Christmas carols and church scenes.
I saw a Netflix Christmas movie recently that was very well done, but it did feature a minor character in a gay role. I remember thinking, “This was such a nice movie, why add that nonsense?”.
